Overall I agree, but we ought to be mighty careful when using the term "repentance" because somewhat different things may be implied depending on the context (or rather, dispensation) it's used in.

In fact, it may even suggest works, like cleaning up your act back in Jesus' day when the jews were still under the law, yet we know that would be against the Gospel today.
