Have you ever had a dream, were you see something, and then IN DREAM you suddenly have another memory of a similar event happening to you before?
Mine was in such a way, that I don’t know if it was a false memory created inside my dream, a memory from another dream that I forgot; or a suppressed memory?
It was about me seeing a little girl in a really dark place though it was public. I sorta knew she can’t be human because what the hell she is doing there on her own (think 6 year old) the moment I got closer, I got hit by another memeory. I think in this memeory I was a child and I saw a girl, also a child, but this time it was in a dark cave, and I was talking to her. I didn’t know how I even come here and I also knew she is not human.
Some details: in the dream, I was an adult, and my brother was there with me, plus a couple of other people sitting nearby. The little girl had accent, told me she is not human, and she can prove it by showing me a pic of her grandma who lives “down there” and then reluctantly went to get it
In the memory dream one, she didn’t have an accent, i was a kid, I was completely alone, and she never claimed to be non human and pretended to be normal (despite being in a cave all alone by herself for some reason)
For the record, I wasn’t really scared during any of those dream/memories, just oddly curious.
Anyone knows wtf was that?
Pic sorta related. Dream in that “public” , open area was this dark, and in the memory section was darker and it was in a cave without any visible exit.

When you dream of a little girl or boy, he or she represents a part of yourself. Symbolically, she is your feminine/childlike side. The fact that you encounter her at night and in the dark (and in the flashback even in a cave) could mean that this part of you is suffering and feels rejected and was pushed into the uncounscious. Maybe this was caused by your need to survive in an environment that did not value your most vulnerable side.
She no longer recognizes herself as human because you no longer feel her as part of yourself. However, the very fact that you dreamed about her suggests that you are beginning to reconnect with her.

That memory that popped in your dream it's probably trying to say that this part of you was rejected a long time ago because you were a kid in the memory

All the time, my theory is that the dream is just a dream, and in that it forms and retains a memory of something, something that you're going to notice because you've seen it before in your dream. So anything that occurs similar to that memory stands out and you notice it.

sometimes my dreams end by walking up to a door. one time, i walked through it and i found myself in a small nearly empty beige room. there was this mechanical angel attached to the far wall by wires and pipes, below her an old computer, black screen with green text. she said "hello, do you remember?" i was about to say no, when my mind was flooded by previous visits. dozens if not hundreds. then i said that i do remember. i walked up to the computer and there was a list of options. she asked what i would like to do and i clicked "download inhabitants" and she smiled and said "as you always do" then presumably the world deleted and i woke up. that was years ago now, but its stuck with me like a real memory of waking life.
