Altered Carbon season 1. It's a slow burn, but well worth the knowledge within.

i liked these ones as well. The first time i watched the x files i wasnt just focused on the story but also on the thought that maybe one of these episodes could hold some truth. Remember when the lone gunmen predicted 9/11? Or season 10 Covid. I also remember hearing that chris carter got the script for some episodes by the cia or smth

My favorite episode is clyde bruckmans final repose. Just a classic

Wizard of Oz has a lot of X elements and I enjoy the overall message and connect with it ‘what I was looking for was there in front of me the whole time’

Lynch loved that movie btw. It also has MK Ultra elements to it.

Idiocracy is really good and funny.

Twin Peaks Fire Walk With Me his really close to home for me personally and I think it’s possibly Lynch’s best movie. Heres a minute long clip if u wanna watch
https://youtu.be/GsWAasVxTMM?si=ONQ6egU6Ap0GE92m

But lynch movies can be ‘difficult’ to watch and that one is one of them.

I also enjoy Inland Empire but think he was a little too self indulgent with it and the loud jumpscare parts annoy me.

This show is such garbage
Jay Dyer and Isaac Weishaupt love this show and push it on the conspiracy community because they know it doesn’t have anything of subs
Notice how no one ever says anything interesting about the show
They’re just like
>duuur it’s symbolic
No, it’s boring you dumb motherfuckers
David Lynch sucks and his movies are overrated

Twin Peaks and Adventure Time are THE /x/ shows to me because I've never seen any others quite as deep into actual spirituality and religious philosophy. I like other spooky/occult-themed shit but it just doesn't hit the same as those two

So not tv related at all but im researching nightmare vision goggles and took a break to scroll /x/ and this thread flashed like lighting in my mind when i realized that is the secret.

The Nightmare vision goggles were made from a chemical which when used as an optical filter produced "Twin Peaks" on the EM spectrum that made the invisible become visible.

Jacob's Ladder sent me down a pretty deep rabbit hole.
Fantastic Planet is also a great watch if you want to learn about just how weird and fucked up alien cultures could be if we ever end up meeting them.

This and Gravity Falls are fantastic for introducing /x/ related topics to people without looking like a crazy person. I'd describe them as shows that allow people to choose if they want to learn more about esoteric subjects, or if they just want to enjoy them for what they are on the surface.

Twin Peaks isn’t deep
You idiots act like cartoons and David Lynch shows have some deep esoteric meanings
But you guys never talk about the actual meanings
It’s like you guys are all glow just jerking each other off

I could certainly sperg and explain my interpretation of either show if I spoiled all of them. Just cause it's not like animes or some shit where all the meanings are spelled out doesn't mean there isn't something to it that's clearly there/

Mulholland Drive is supposedly a great movie by Lynch but I’ve yet to watch it. I’ve seen Mulholland Falls which I don’t think he was involved in but it’s kind of x style movie too. I’ve also seen Holland Nicole Kidmans new movie. I can’t help but wonder if this is all connected in some way. I learned on wiki that Lynch was evacuated from the la wildfires. So he must’ve lived close to mulholland drive. I think it’s a real street.

The banned one was kino. The old timey car and tune scene. The other memey episode was funny too, the one where they recount wintness perspective and author perspective, with the screaming like a little girl scene. But I liked the black guy handler in the early episode, he had presence and caliber. I like dark scenes in the early seasons, they're beautifully shot. Absolute kino lighting, in the dark rooms and alleys, basement etc.

Lynch liked wizard of oz? I figured he was terrified of it. He clearly based the harkonnen and geidi prime on the emerald city and the clothes of the wizard when he was hiding as the door warden.

>Lynch liked wizard of oz?

'Lynch/Oz examines the influence of the 1939 Victor Fleming-directed film The Wizard of Oz on the work of American filmmaker David Lynch.[2] The concept for the film originates from a response Lynch gave during a Q&A panel at the 2001 New York Film Festival following a screening of his film Mulholland Drive. When asked about the impact of Fleming's film on his work, Lynch said, "There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about The Wizard of Oz."

Does it ever occur to you that maybe you just cant see, feel or understand things others can? And because it hurts your little ego to admit that so you convinced yourself that they are just pretentious assholes because its absolutely impossible that a genius like you just doesnt get it.

I really liked Mulholland Drive. I think it’s a lot more straightforward than people make it out to be. To me, mulholland drive is similar to blue velvet but more refined in a way while BV is grittier and campier.

Literally my only complaint for MD is the oversexualization of the lesbian aspect its like yeah we get it lesbos are sexy now on with the story.

True /x/ material hyper realistic mode

Twin Peaks The Return is a close second for schizo stuff, probably the most accurate representation of how magick and all that esoterica occult stuff would actually work, a lot of the red room and convenience store sequences are like representing unconscious, visually. That’s one way of seeing it anyway
