There are five categories of beings in the universe who are ranked in a hierarchy; Mortals. Demigods, Gods, Primordials, and the One. The lowest are Mortals who have no powers and live limited lives. Above the Mortals are Demigods, those who are conceived from sexual relations between a Mortal and a God. Like a mortal, they have a limited lifespan. But like a God, they can have great powers. However unlike that of a god, the powers of a Demigod are more raw and lack control or stability. Above Demigods are Gods who preside over certain aspects of each and every star system. They live forever and have great powers that can even manipulate reality. Above Gods are Primordials. More powerful than regular gods, the Primordials are said to have formed at the genesis of the universe and are the personifications of the fundamental forces and physical foundations of the universe. Unlike the gods who are anthropomorphic, the Primordials are more abstract. Finally above all is the One, the most powerful of all beings and that which all things stem from. It has gone by many names; the Demiurge, God, Allah, etc. The One has existed since before time itself existed and doesn’t even have a singular form as it is the universe itself. It is to us mortals as we are to bacteria as it is not something we can even comprehend.
