The insight you believe you are providing is not what you think it is. The path that led you here is one of cognitive overload, which made you create this depth-less entity. The universal meaning you think the word ‘God’ implies exists only within you. If an infinite entity exists (most likely), no reason or shape can be provided by you. The real ‘paranormal’ (irony) thing going on here is what emotions were strong enough to require the creation of this barrier. Dig deep, feel deep, and you will be on your way. Because god exist you don't have to be responsible of yourself or your own actions "everything is schemed by god"
Because you don't need to be responsible, having moral or ethics isn't necessary "we kill that people because god says so", "we wipe (slaughter) them because that land was promised to us be god", "the emperor was chosen by god so revel's should perish"
God/religion is just an old metod of control used by the empires since soloastrism, the goal of that religion was making only one god so people would accept been ruled by one man...
Humanity has been poisoned since the alteration of religion and the term god. before that the term was related to a type of thinking or knowledge, today new words are used for said meanings for example culture, school, egregore.
