Why am I in love with the dark? The mystery and potency of it just enthrals me to no end.

The dark cures PTSD. In experiments with fruit flies, if a male fruit fly attempted to mate with a female and got rejected once, the male would refuse to try to mate ever again. But, if kept in a dark room for 24 hours, they would attempt to mate again. The dark is literally healing. That's why they try to make you afraid of it. The darkness holds all the answers.

I like the ambiguity and i find darkness relaxing in most situations. I even shower with the lights off.

Gotta have an opposite to compare with. Dark and light complement each other. Beware though, playing with dark too much will grow hair on your hands and make you go blind.

Too much time in the darkness will cause one to spiral yet to some extent the dark is important, weโ€™re supposed to shine in the dark.

The problem is corruption. That sexy elf princess turning into a monster that likes to eat heads. Can be an awkward moment

Ironically, you are corrupting while you use that anime picture and invoke a false imagery of a non existing princess in a non existing situation as a metaphor.
