Space is just the cool background for the world much like backgrounds work in video games. Like video games if we actually found a way to glitch out the map all you'd find is nothingness and dull objects that were only there too look cool from a distance.

It's often depicted a lot more boring than it is. There are planets where diamonds rain upwards, ice is on fire, and many more. I have lots of setting ideas for ttrpgs I've never seen that are more fantastical than any fiction. Think of some of the weird planets from the movie interstellar and realize that they can get a whole lot weirder. There's also strange types of matter out there we've never experienced.

Also space is way bigger than we think. There's other universes in the same space as us with different laws of physics. They just are so far away that other dimensions are easier to get to.

I never looked through a telescope. And the big ones, operated by Jesuits, I wonder if they're even real. The "footage" from NASA is clearly not.
So what I see is the sky above the Earth. And I see it moving, while the Earth stands still. And the sun and the moon are small while Earth is very big, and flat, to the horizon.
Sometimes what you eyes are telling you is more true than what "science" says.

I feel like if you dont try to understand the world you live in then your spiritual beliefs are incomplete and immature. It dont matter if you know the truth or not, its about discovering and making sense of it in your own way. We won't really know what space is but the act of contemplation and making sense of it in your own way can strengthen your spiritual beliefs. To expand your mind, quite literally.
