Maybe this is John the Baptist as well. Not sure about that, but it does make certain things fit really well. I think it might be false, but because things fit well, people have speculated.
Monobazus' son is Izates of Adiabene, who is also Jesus.
The New Testament is ultimately a composite character. You have Masons covering their ass for the revolution against Masonry in 30 AD and then Romans covering their ass for the rebellion against Rome (and literally Izates trying to become Emperor after Nero died). Rome replaced the second guy with the first guy, but then the Masons also eventually obscured enough details that it's just muddy character that doesn't seem like a rebel in any way. The gnostic gospels dispel some of this notion, but studying history covers that other half of it.
I think he's also Apollonius of Tyana. Both feuded with Nero and were about to be killed, but supposedly Apollonius got away.
>Josephus mentions a magician named Atomus (Simon in Latin manuscripts) as being involved with the procurator Felix, King Agrippa II and his sister Drusilla, where Felix has Simon convince Drusilla to marry him instead of the man she was engaged to. Some scholars have considered the two to be identical, although this is not generally accepted, as the Simon of Josephus is a Jew rather than a Samaritan. >>40560161Jesus was a Magician. That's really him spreading Masonic knowledge.
