>>40559130 (OP)So the issue with the Demiurge is... who created the Demiurge? This is why Gnostic belief never really catches on.
If Zeus who created Zeus?
If Odin who created Odin?
If Demiurge who created Demiurge?
If Lucifer who created Lucifer?
See what I mean?
The question must lead to someone more powerful and so on until you reach the source that something that was not created is the source of all creation.
Now there is this Gnostic fallacy "that Material BAD!" Yes yes they can use their big words but I see through it. Funny enough this is the general conclusion of any belief Athiesm, Agnostic and so on "Life hard, bad things happen, World must be evil." It is a sort of childish conclusion but in a spiritual sense we are a childish creature. Very simple really but also very complex and beautiful. Like a diamond from afar it looks like just a glass gem but as you look deeper you see the details.
First we need to establish what this being is that created everything and has no peer. This being that sits above Zeus, Lucifer, the Demiurge all of it.
In the Christian belief this being is God and even in the Greek belief of the hidden God and honesty most Pagan beliefs worked their way to this sort of being that existed above all their deities.
God has no equal.
God was not created.
God can not be killed nor will he ever die.
God does not exist in time.
God is absolutely perfect with no blemish.
Everything exists because God Wills it.
Nothing has, is or will happen God is not aware of.
God is a Perfect being with no Peer this means God is Good and Evil is not God.
Then if God created the material then it is good.
Then why suffering?
Because God in his Perfect Justice and Love allows choice. Remember he lives outside time we cannot grasp how this works because to do so would be to draw a perfect circle which is impossible.
By allowing this choice he allows true Love to exist.
By allowing Choice God allows suffering as a consequence.
