When stoned I become tempted by sin and vice and doubt God
When Iโm drunk I become proud and confident. Proud of God. I start shouting about the Devil and Moloch. I become incredibly proud and patriotic of where I come from and that I am on a spiritual quest to guide my tribe to the light and banish forces that try to drag them to low vibrational demonic suffering. I literally scream at the Devil when alone to dare to touch me and that Iโll kill him. I also become very welcoming to my fellow man. Even when I see a lost soul I see him a lost man to be guided along not an enemy to be hated. Iโm a semi agnostic when sober.
Why is this? Is alcohol holy?
>>40564850 (OP)I think if used truly in moderation, it could be a good thing. I am an alcoholic, I haven't had a drink in over 2 years. I remember that 2 beer feeling though, somewhere around there is optimal.
Wine becomes the literal blood of Christ during the eucharist. It's undeniable alcohol has spiritual propierties. I heard a priest say once: "If you drink to enhance a good moment, that's a good thing. If you drink just for the sake of drinking, that's a bad habit". So drink in moderation and praise the Lord.
>>40564850 (OP)>Why is this? Is alcohol holy?No retard you are just a belligerent fool with lessened inhibitions. Also it is an objective fact that you are not able to accurately gauge your own behaviour while drunk, so everything you just said was probably horseshit and you're annoying as fuck as every other alcoholic moron.
>>40564850 (OP)Everything you described is literally just your central nervous system being suppressed as a result of a drug. Which is the furthest thing from holy and weakens your presence with God. You sound like an alcoholic, get help.
Weed and booze are both bad news. Gun to my head though, I'd have to say weed had an overall worse effect on my life. Weed used to make me feel happy and sociable, now it just makes me feel anxious and floods my mind with negative thoughts. Smoking weed can give you an impending sense of dread unlike anything else. You may not notice it if you're a casual smoker, but start toking 24/7 for years on end and you won't be able to smoke a single bowl without thinking about how you failed your parents, some autistic shit you did in highschool, how you're stuck in a blood and poop sack and you're going to die a painful death, and so on.
Alcohol is dangerous, don't get me wrong. You aren't going to find many people who killed someone in a car accident because they were driving high, but you'll find plenty who did so while drunk. Taken to its extremes, alcohol can turn you into a violent, angry person with no inhibitions. You can make the worst mistake of your life while drunk, and weed is never going to put you in that kind of situation.
With that in mind, I'd be lying if I said that alcohol doesn't have its charms. Being perfectly intoxicated in the right state of mind will make you numb to pain, indulgent of pleasure, and otherwise willing to be real and truthful in a way that nothing else can provide. You'll relish every note of a song and every drag of a cigarette, you'll enjoy every meaningless conversation, you'll want to sit down and write a thesis paper on why love is the only thing that matters, and you'll do it all without giving a single fuck what anyone thinks. It makes you feel real, if only for a time.
The problem is that achieving "perfect intoxication" requires a degree of self-control and circumstance that are unsustainable in the long term. Become thirsty enough, and you'll find yourself drinking every night instead of every week, and the thing that once made you feel loving and joyous will make you feel bitter and resentful.
>>40564850 (OP)Sounds like a skill issue. I can drink 10 liters with no effect beyond walking slow and laughing more, with selfcontrol still.
It's probably genetic though
>>40564850 (OP)All the more reason to toke up and avoid the hooch, OP.
Fuck 'gods'. Pure faggotry. Embody hedonism and guide your own path.
sounds like a skill issue OP
weed gets you high, so it elevates your desires and doubts, but it doesn't erase your conscious will to overindulge or not
alcohol gets you drunk, so it makes you lean towards what you feel is great and good, but this doesn't take away your free will on rejecting temptation
take care and peace be with you all, indulge responsibly
>>40564850 (OP)>is my obnoxious attitude as a drunk holy?no
donโt you know that whoever exalts himself will be humbled?
watch yourself bro
>t. a sinner but for the grace of god
