Nothing he preached wasn't technically wrong, but its a miniscule subset of greater metaphysical principles. He's condensed one small part of all of life into a simple exercise. And as the outcome of said exercises can be summarized as "get anything you want with just thoughts!" it has attracted the worst kinds of people looking for quick fixes to life failing to grasp the greater meaning.
Its so funny seeing supposed LOA experts fail the very premises that Neville said solely because they too have read an even smaller subvert of what he preached, like those greentext screenshots that are just "think it and it comes true".
If you take a bunch of people so mentally ill and desperate for change that they browse here, then give them a very tiny snapshot of a complex metaphysical subject that promises quick ez total reality change, its pretty obvious why you get so many rejects that failed. As well as obsessive Stockholm syndrome people that never get anyway but don't stop due to how long they've done it . And of coarse these desperate people are very easy to manipulate with these things, stuff like The Secret is literally just taking all the teachings and selling it to the desperate.
There's just so much more too it that without knowing yourself and the world around you it almost feels like luck. And even if you do know more, its not like there's some magic text that once read grants total effortless reality control. Mainly because it revolves around changing your very self which isn't fun or easy. The best thing I got from Neville was the desire to read more about it and read other texts which give greater understanding. For me I read stuff like Mindstar, I Am The Word and various Seth texts which I think expands on it more in indirect ways.

I've honestly had more consistent manifestations before loa. I'd just have certain wishes that would eventually manifest just by going through life. Once I knew about loa I understood where those manifestations came from, but the try hard to reach X and doing visualizations over and over would be a hit or miss.

But I do think there is something to it. I can't really point it. If you have a pure intention, a desire, you send out a signal. and those resonant to you will cross your path. By doing something like visualization (others do affirming, others do rituals, others do prayers). Important is that you convince yourself. you funnel your will into your intention. You will be given the opportunity to say yes or no and realize what you wished for. Those times I did try hard to manifest something and it worked was when I accepted that everything is from me, closed meditation, visualizing a bill in my hand.

the list I gave you with the things I've gotten. some where just simple thoughts like "I'd like to have X" and then forget about it. it was pure intention. but not really with focus behind it. I wouldn't really care if I got it or no. The bills I find on the ground where mostly times where I would focus on getting money. or sometimes go to a place and thing "shit I have to pay parking" but it would up ending free for some weird reason. Free parking that day, or machine broke, or find a coin. The things about sex, were like things I've always wanted to experience and I would remember from time to time but that's about it, then they would happen. For example one time I was using tinder and that girl just happened to be black and asked me if I would take her virginity. same with the concerts. I guess the relation I had was the thing I put in the most effort manifesting and it was mostly like snippets of daydreaming of having sex with a girl.

The last things I put in the most effort and I crafted a scene that would imply all of those. I would repeat it over and over. probably did it for around 3 months, sometimes with hemysinc. Mostly my idea behind it was that by having financial freedom the rest would fall into place and I wouldn't have to be doing visualization all the time because I would have the things.

I'm still trying to find the "key" to it all as I'm sure most people here are also bothered by the inconsistency.

My idea is that your self concept and the concept of the world around you affect how resonant it is to your desire. So let's say if you want to have sex. but you have a low idea of yourself (by having fear or sex, feeling fat / ugly). that's the thought that you will transmit and not be reflected to you. Since who really wants to have sex with you if you're not confident. And the same goes concept the world around you. if you think there aren't any girls in your city, or they're all ugly or they're bitches. You are creating a world where your thought about intercourse with them will not reflect back at you.

So you have to have a self concept and a world concept that allows for your thought/desire to reflect back at you.

I've realized that the law is capricious and has its own conscience. What you most want, what you most yearn for and desire with all your soul, isn't given to you.
