Made a post a while ago here talking about how me and 2 buddies went up to Page in view of Navajo mountain and were generally loud and raucous. Got horrible dreams afterwards and spotted more coyotes in 2 weeks than I have in years.
Was told to go back up to the rez and give a tobacco offering and talk to the local shaman. Did exactly that.
Shaman was quite understanding and said that I took the right steps to come back and amend my wrongs. Had me memorize some Navajo phrases and told me to find the area I camped in and to give the tobacco and food offering to the spirits of the area.
After driving to the campsite, I set the offerings down, closed my eyes as instructed, and did my best to repeat what I was told to. Strong gust of wind occured and a dust devil whipped up about 30-40 feet from me, then dissipated in a few seconds. Got a strong feeling of a weight being lifted off my shoulders, but simultaneously a strong desire to leave the area.
Drove straight back to Prescott afterwards. Been a week since then and no incidents, so I think its safe to say it worked. Thank you anons who gave advice
