I really think we're all looking at the same thing and invented 100s of systems. In reality it might be that belief or faith has power, and it is the one you believe that works. The nazarine (Jesus) said and I quote Mathew 17:20 "And Jesus said unto them, “Because of your unbelief; for verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, ‘Remove hence to yonder place,’ and it shall remove. And nothing shall be impossible unto you." I have witnessed many systems and this is my conclusion as well. It's not the candles for sure.

The illusory nature of the mind leads to these intricacies. We create an illusion on the mind by our beliefs and so the way of truth is the open mind. Not drawn to what we desire to believe. Not affected by the "placebo effect" or "cognitive bias" they are the same thing. We are all looking at the same world with a different shade of glasses. I have taken mine off.

This is one of the most common claims of spiritual people who follow some esoteric religion or none at all. In my experience it isn't true. I've taken steps to make what I want happen, and everything looks like it should happen, so I'm confident it will, and it doesn't.
