Anyone else have this? I call it demonic because that's what it's often felt at times in my life, tho I'd prefer to believe it's God looking out for me. Examples:
People (esp. authority figures) constantly being nice/giving allowances
Lucking into jobs despite lacking qualification
Getting out of trouble easily
Events (even major ones) that would impact your life negatively never follow through
Curious if anyone else has experienced this and if so how they've been able to take advantage of it.
>>40579113Nah, can happen on the Internet as well.
>>40579147But you're good looking aren't you?
>>40579156Could stand to use a few pounds but yea I guess so, at least facially. Half-Swedish American, pure White, other side of my family is Confederates lol so no racemixing. 6 ft 3 ish
>>40579169Doesn't explain things like this happening with mo face-to-face interaction
>>40579179Maybe you have a likeable attitude and personality as well.
>>40579105 (OP)That charm isnt demonic.
If you want to learn how to use it I ask you this.
What do you do for others when no one is watching you?
>>40579260Hmm good question. I suppose I do my best to ensure others are happy through small gestures. Doesn't always work out lol but I do my best. Hope that's the sort of answer you're looking for, if I've totally misunderstood lmk
>>40579349Nope, I think you found the answer, but haven't recognized it yet.
>>40579367Do I get another try lol? This one's hard for me cus I'm not great at talking abt myself. Plus you're never really alone are you?
>>40579105 (OP)>Curious if anyone else has experienced this and if so how they've been able to take advantage of it.I have felt like I got preferential treatment but it could entirely be people. I have also gotten unjustly fucked over to absurd degrees.
On the other hand, I've seen actual magic and a goddess gave me enhancements. For example improved my eyesight.
>>40579381Sometimes we are, and you get as many tries as you like, because I like where your heart is at.
>>40579387What made you think the treatment was preferential rather than explicitly earned?
How do you know your criteria are correct or not?
>>40579435>What made you think the treatment was preferential rather than explicitly earned?I didn't meet the written requirements.
>How do you know your criteria are correct or not?I said "felt like". They could have just been lax with people in general but at the time it felt like getting fast tracked.
>>40579424Thanks :)
I suppose then my mind goes to when I'm in alone bed at night, thinking about how I wish the world would be and praying for it to come. Maybe that's not "doing" much but I think it helps (or at least hope so). It's never just about me I suppose, I always imagine and pray for uplifting those around me, my friends and family. Even the things I want that are material (e.g. money) is mixed up in that, wanting to buy a nice house for both me and my best friend facing eviction. Hoping for other friends to have their issues resolved. Again maybe it's not super tangible but that's when I feel the most alone and unwatched :)
>>40579456How do you think that relates to knowing that people genuinely love and care about you?
When you said "Plus you're never really alone are you?"
Who was with you?
>>40579105 (OP)Ya, dude, still thinking on good fae terms, eh?
>>40579451So if you didnt meet the requirements, but humor me for a moment, lets say you did actually earn it for some other reason, what might that reason be?
Are you faking it, or is it actually you?
>>40579506>So if you didnt meet the requirements, but humor me for a moment, lets say you did actually earn it for some other reason, what might that reason be?It's interesting that you're focused on the most mundane claim in my post, that I felt like I've gotten preferential treatment. But anyway, maybe the "benefactors" were subversive and wanted me to have credentials to do more damage? Just a thought.
>Are you faking it, or is it actually you?Who? I'm definitely me.
>>40579518Maybe I'm not seeing the scope of the situation clearly, but if you were authentically being you, and that makes people trust you enough to bend or break the rules, then why doubt yourself and the world like that?
Do you really think most people are pathological, or are they just trying to do good in whatever way they think that manifests?
Are you being good or performing good?
>>40579498>How do you think that relates to knowing that people genuinely love and care about you?Haha another hard one. I guess I'd say that I do those things because of that knowledge. If I know someone loves (or even just likes) me then I know that they're someone I should do good things to. They're giving me that love and I should return it in a sense. Of course I'm not gonna go around doing bad things to ppl that don't love me, but I'm also not gonna include every rando I meet during the course of the day in my prayers and imaginings yknow?
>Who was with you?I believe in God (not exactly Christian but something around there I suppose), so there's that. Plus it might sound dumb but I have a sort of "imaginary" friend you might call her, she's very real to me though and is always there.
>>40579550Ah, that is an incredibly revealing answer, and I'm delighted to hear it.
So now that you've fully articulated how your charm works, and how its not demonic, how does it feel to realize you knew the whole time how it works?
>>40579539>Maybe I'm not seeing the scope of the situation clearly, but if you were authentically being you, and that makes people trust you enough to bend or break the rules, then why doubt yourself and the world like that?I don't see everything as karmic reward, not yet at least. Things like this have several possible rational explanations. Maybe they just wanted me out of their hair and advanced me to the next area.
>Do you really think most people are pathological, or are they just trying to do good in whatever way they think that manifests? Most people are definitely not primarily trying to do good. They're trying to get what they want without being so evil they feel bad about it. A few are selfless and a few are just evil.
>Are you being good or performing good?Yeah but not everyone would agree. More a weapon than a fountain. Culling more than planting.
>>40579563Uhhh mostly confused I guess lol. I think I might see what your getting at? but not sure how to use that.
>>40579571>without being so evil they feel bad about it.If they primarily aren't trying to do good, why would they feel bad about it?
>>40579603Its okay, you already use it every day, and for all the right reasons, just trust yourself and that "imaginary friend" of yours ;)
>>40579605>If they primarily aren't trying to do good, why would they feel bad about it?Everything is partially delusional in the human mind. People generally see themselves as good, while actually spending their effort on themselves, in competitive enterprises (Like zero sum games) to the cost of others. But they avoid some things because they would consider them too evil.
>>40579615Thats how.
I asked you why?
I'm sorry, but you can't break these manacles without being honest with yourself.
>>40579611Alright, I'll try lol, thx anon.
>>40579622You'll get not a penny from me. Which is so stupid because you could have earned quite a bit of money from me for something simple. I hate your perversity with a passion that we are now enemies.
>>40579626Sorry but who are u and what did I do?
>>40579621>I asked you why?I implied that's because someone who considers themselves good doesn't want to do what they consider evil.
>I'm sorry, but you can't break these manacles without being honest with yourself.I'm sorry, did you think I was here for therapy? I don't take advice from Earthly ruffians.
>>40579634So if they consider themselves good and recognize optimizing for themself can result in evil, but then consciously chose to optimize for you instead of themself, what does that say about you? Is it so hard to consider they might have just believed in you because they saw you were trying to do what they couldn't?
>>40579642>Is it so hard to consider they might have just believed in you because they saw you were trying to do what they couldn't?Did you? I get that feeling quite a bit, but it's not normally associated with people doing favors for me. I think people fear getting involved at all.
>>40579628*hits you with Trump's foot*
>>40579649They fear it because you're not doing it consciously and they can watch you calculate your answers in realtime while they can respond automatically.
And I did, because in a past life I used to be you.
Its what you do for others when no one is watching and why. Thats what really matters because it informs you who you are.
This is a well documented phenomenon in the biblical narrative. E.g. Joseph and David were both good looking, had personalities to match and people generally loved them.
“And he left all that he had in Joseph’s hand; and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person, and well favoured. ¶ And it came to pass after these things, that his master’s wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me.” (Genesis 39:6-7)
“And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the Lord said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he.” (1 Samuel 16:12)
>>40579113I feel personally attacked
>>40579649Also I dunno if you'll see this or not, I apologize for being blunt and honest with you, but I felt it would be better to show you the truth you refused to confront to save you years of loneliness.
I hope it helped.
>>40581937He refused to sleep with her. You are implying infidelity is part of God's blessing. very jewish of you.
>>40582168>>40582168You are implying thar having women throw themselves at you is part of God's blessing, which biblically is not (it's actually the opposite), neither did I call anything a blessing here to begin with.
>>40582005>Also I dunno if you'll see this or not, I apologize for being blunt and honest with you, but I felt it would be better to show you the truth you refused to confront to save you years of loneliness.>I hope it helped. It's pretty vague for someone claiming to provide truth. But I don't just believe anything. Even divinations might be technologically faked.
