How many types of cryptids have you encountered?
I've personally witnessed and have been stalked by:
>Dogmen
>Sasquatches/yetis
>Werewolves
>Leech people
>Tree people (or possibly Duendes, I'll provide a description of it, and maybe you guys can tell me what you think of it. Two different sources told me it was two different things)
>"The People of the Valley", weird little gerble things with human-esque faces
>A Gargoyle
>A fucking shapeshifter

So far, this is the list of every cryptid/paranormal/anomalous entity I have encountered, which I am absolutely certain was a real organism that most certainly exists, and is most likely dangerous and may or not eat human beings

Share your stories of your own encounters, and I will answer any questions you would like to ask about these things. If you would be so kind, I may ask you questions about your own encounters as well, so please provide me genuine answers to the best of your ability. No bullshit, please.

Bump

The image of this dogman is somewhat accurate, but their hunchback is far more severe - it's a large lump-like structure like severe sculliosis or rickets, and causes their spine to curve through 180°, whereupon their neck juts out horizontally from the same height as their chest, with their head following a similar horizontal arrangement, as in the sketch I drew from memory in the OP

None, because I’m not retarded or a lying attention whore.

The actual reason is because you don't go through the forest/bushes at night, in boondocks. You simply aren't aware of something that could be right outside, right now.

Mate I live in the rural midwest and play 6-10 hours of Pokémon Go each night due to my epic autism. I see deers, cops, and occasionally drunk Mexicans.

But no, you’re right, there’s probably a dogman or Loch Ness monster out there hiding behind some trees. Spooky vibes! OooOoooOoo

They probably see the light from your phone. They're fucking good at hiding. I swear, I can't tell if I ran into them by mutual accident, or if they were trying to be found in the initial instance.

After that time, I know for sure they wanted me to see them. They pop up sometimes at around 2-3 AM, and just kinda stand there and stare at me, with the hair on their head bristling on end. Other times they're doing various other shit.

They're intelligent; they aren't dumb animals. They know what we are and what threat that poses to them, so they've spent their whole lives hiding from view.

The dogmen, at least. Other rules apply to other things, for the most part.

These are not exactly cryptids. They are another non-human species. They are intelligent and know a lot, but they are hostile so it is not recommended to contact them

I'm not the only one that's seen them. I wouldn't be calling the dogmen "dogmen" if I was the one to name them. I think the name sounds gay personally.
Why are you so upset that I'm talking about cryptids? Did you get molested or something?

Thank you for the advice. I don't try to contact them, but since I saw them, and they saw me, they've just kind of been following me around at night, half-stalking half-following/ambushing me. Not ambush in the aggressive sense, but waiting for me to show up somewhere and then staring at me or glaring at me or doing some shit.

There these weird, giant leech things that make the most disgusting sloshing, slimy, gurgling, wet noises I've ever heard. The crawl around at night sometimes, and say in this gravelly, low voice "BLOOD NECTAR" over and over and over again. They suck the blood out of various animals; I've found the corpses of their prey occasionally. The remains have a circle of non-round puncture wounds on their bodies and are completely drained of blood. Not a drop makes it to the ground.

They live in waterways, like ponds, but seem to be unable to be out of water for long, as they will slip into people's pools, which I have observed routinely whenever I manage to detect their presence nearby (like I can literally hear them splashing as they slip into my neighbor's pools at like, 3AM or so, now and then)

I think they are hermaphroditic, a couple of times I've heard them saying things while in the pools, like, they call each other "brother" and "sister", but will sometimes make some weird noise and say subsequently "now I am a sister (or 'brother')"

I swear to God, this is real shit I've seen. I cannot make this up. I am not creative or imaginitive anywhere near the degree that would be required to come up with all the details I've noted over the years, ever since I started staying up at nights (I work a night shift, have for almost 10 years now) and listening to shit going on outside, or walking through the bushes and trails in the middle of the night.

You have attracted their attention, it is not surprising. They like to collect knowledge, if you know something important or especially you have some old book they can steal it. They stink of dog and dampness, if you feel it means they were nearby. They live in underground settlements and can go out into the city, they can disguise themselves as people. Look closely at the eyes, they glow just like wolves

Holy fuck. You know what you're talking about. That's all entirely true.

I know what you mean: I can feel it when they look at me. It's this twitch or this funny feeling I get in my lower back, whenever their gaze passes onto me.

That's a trip and a half about the books, I'll try that. Do you think they like children's books, specifically illustrating anthromorphic animals? Or just, like, textbooks containing big swaths of knowledge?

Children's books don't carry any important knowledge so they are useless for them. If we talk about the image of anthropomorphic animals, they are attracted to statues, for example, the statue of Anubis. No ideas about books with pictures, but I think paintings and drawings interest them too. Better to just throw it away
