Someone gave me an occult riddle from a book, which goes as follows:
what is the star Eve showed to Adam?
Apparently this is written at the start of the book. The clues he gives is as follows:
1) it can’t be something like Venus/lucifer, because that’s not mentioned in Genesis
2) it’s actually simple and obvious
3) It’s thematically poetic
4) it something that is ‘distinctly Eve’, and it relates to something she does
Maybe one would be first inclined to say Ophiuchus, since Eve does ‘bruise the serpents heal’, but that answer isn’t simple, and it’s not a part of Genesis. After much thought, my guess is:
Adam, since Adam is the pentagram, and Eve is a reflection of Adam. That is knowledge of the self as seperate from the non-self, since within the snake is the illusion of separation and thus death. And at the beginning they didn’t know division, and not from each other, but knowing division and separation they clothed themselves from each other.
>>40601011 (OP)>what is the star Eve showed to Adam?idk the sun? but that's my go to answer
>>40601011 (OP)Could also be the earth, since she is the ‘mother of all that is living’
>>40601011 (OP)The star in the apple.
Ever cut an apple core in half?
>>40601183nothing says in the bible that it's an apple
>>40601219Yeah but it's always an apple in art and shit.
It's just a simple riddle.
>>40601437If we're going by popular culture, lucifer/venus should also be in the game, wouldn't it?
>>40601451Venus isn't a star, it's a planet that looked like a star a million billion years ago.
>>40601516biblically it's a star - called the morning star (lucifer)
planets are "wandering stars" (plắnēs ăstḗr)
brush up on your occult knowledge anon
>>40601011 (OP)I thought Eve bruises the serpent's head and the serpent bruises her heel.
>>40601563Nope.
The only morning star in the Bible is Jesus.
Lucifer is a title for King Ahaz and is the "son of hte morning"
So uh....no u
>>40601593heosphoros, "lightbringer"—in latin, lucifer—is the greek name for the morning star, but whatever you say. Also, I never said that it was relevant who the morning star was, I only implied that Venus is considered a type of star in the light of biblical knowledge and context; a point which you never addressed.
>>40601652it doesn't matter dude, it's a simple riddle for kids.
There's a star in apples, that's the answer lol
>>40601717thanks for the banter, anon
>>40601717I never said it was a simple riddle for kids, it’s from an esoteric book
>>40601779The impression I got is that the answer is simple in the sense of ‘oh it’s so obvious, why didn’t I think of this immediately’ type way
>>40601652Hesperus is the Star of Eve (=Evening).
The brown star -- her butthole.
>>40601011 (OP)Averrhoa carambola
The star fruit
And, metaphorically, the guiding star
>>40601183There were no apples at the time/place. Many suspected the pomegranate. Personally, I see fact that star fruit is exctinct in the wild as a clear sign. I see it as my polaris.
>>40602994In Hebrew, the word "Avera" (עֲבֵרָה) refers to a transgression or sin, particularly against God or moral law
>>40602994Carambola traces its etymology from Portuguese all the way back to Sanskrit. In Marathi where the etymology is extended according to record, "karambal" (करंबल) primarily refers to the plant Rostellularia procumbens (also known as Justicia procumbens), which is also known as water willow or "Justice's trailing plant".
>>40602994>>40603010>>40603035Perhaps this is enough to convince you. It is plainly simple it would be a fruit, right? Still, this is preliminary research I just conducted for an intuition that came to me. I urge you let your knowledge of good and evil, of transgression and justice, and the fruits that bore it, be your guide.
"The Star" is cannabis, anon.

>>40602994>no apples thereWait until you find out what the Crab Apple really was.
>that's not where Eden wasEden's groves grew Golden Fruits.
Have fun with that riddle.
Need a hint? Don't forget your Boat. You'll need it.
>>40604371>golden fruitsyou say like I didn't propose one
>>40604427I guess genetics aren't for everyone.
>>40604454That's obviously correct, yes.
>>40601011 (OP)>1) it can’t be something like Venus/lucifer, because that’s not mentioned in GenesisThen what makes you so sure that "Eve showed a star to Adam"?
>>40604464Yet things aren't as they seem.
Corporate inflation, semantic taxation, liminal extolation, they trail like the vine with justice on the line. In between the words we find frames of the present buried in the past. It just that context always speaks last.
>>40604540Boy, what a novel approach you have. I wonder where you got the idea from.
>>40604574>I wonder where you got the idea fromNatural logarithms and linguistic recursion, expressed as an emergent phenomenon of DNA. Though, if you mean personally, the bible first pointed me to the power of The Word. Genetic influence in agriculture and propaganda aren't so different.
>>40604465Because that’s the riddle, from the book. The riddle has an answer, in the book.
>>40605172Do you agree with its answer?
>>40605179>>40605108If I knew the book, I wouldn’t have made the thread guessing the answer, I would have just checked it
>>40605246Some people here like to lord knowledge over others, and I'm here to judge meaning, not people. I appreciate the sentiment though.
To see something as an "end of an axis" is to use it as a frame for judgement. This is the meaning of the north star in Latin.

Is this an apple or a cherry?
I'm not good with fruits.

The star is the pentagram, that bears Eve's name (it's distinctly Eve). Eve is just "the woman", and is only given her name after her transgression. Thus the pentagram, the star, is revealed to Adam.
Those are just clones of me. Failures at that.

Brown eye, brown star.
They didn't have bidets, or even baby wipes.
They were literally the first humans, they wiped with leaves.
She had a brown star and showed it to Adam.
