How I Know: Born in 87 I’m a child of the 90s and DISTINCTLY remember both Shazaam and Kazaam in the theaters around the same time. I remember thinking how retarded it was to have two genie movies that looked so stupid and also so similar to one another be in theaters back to back. If Shazaam never existed, then why would I have a this memory of the dual geneie movies at the same time in the 90s with the same everything the name was just one letter off?


Theory: I imagine that they always knew they were going to ‘do a magic trick’ with the Shazaam movie and try to gaslight people down the line into thinking it was made up.

If you know anything about movies and movie theaters there is lots of security when it comes to the reels and such. I imagine they were under strict orders to recollect any of the Shazaam advertising material and dispose of it. The movie was a piece of shit nobody would have cared in the moment to collect memorabilia from it and nobody had cellphones back then taking photos of everything they ever did. What are the chances someone would get proof of some piece of shit genie movie?

The reason Americans falsey remember Shazaam! is because there was a brief promotion of the UK TV movie "Bernard and the Genie" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernard_and_the_Genie) in the USA that was over too quickly for any the promotional materials to get made or distributed. So it is as if it never existed. A lot of the scenes people remember from Shazaam! are from Bernard and the Genie.

99% of these things are just people misremembering things they didn't pay much attention to, like picrel, as someone who is pretty much obsessed with Pokemon and has followed the franchise since the very beginning I can tell you that no, Pikachu never had a black tip on its tail, people are either confusing it for Pichu's tail, which is black, or simply misremembering because they were only into the first generation like 30 years ago.

Actually while Shazam is the name of the one who gives him his powers, he was called Captain Marvel until about 15 years ago. And yes there's a Marvel character by the same name (several actually) and that was a point of contention with the two because they both had a supposed trademark they were fighting about (Marvel copyrighted it when DC unknowingly let it lapse). Finally it was ruled in favor of Marvel, provided they have ongoing work using the name (hence why Ms Marvel was renamed to Captain Marvel and put in the MCU) while DC had to permanently ditch the name and renamed him Shazam.

"uhhh people remembering things wrong" isn't a valid argument. yes, memory is imperfect, but millions of people have _the same exact_ memory. not "i thought there was a wooden crate in the fruit of the loom logo", not "i thought it was a bunch of vegetables", everyone remembers the same cornucopia. people have conducted blind experiments asking strangers on the street to describe the logo, half or more talk about the cornucopia. no prompting, suggesting, or prior exposure to the mandela effect. if it could be explained with "false memory", everyone would remember something different and there would be no phenomenon.

What i imagine is happening that there are changes in human ghost. When i say human ghost im talking about human connected consciousness (hive mind) that's what human ghost is. There are three planes of existence 1 physical (body) 2 astral (spirit) 3 mental (ghost) ... humans to exist in this world need to have physical body, spirit and be connected to ghost which shares the ideas of humanity.

It seems that there is disconnection happening or perhaps something else for me evolution means that you are starting in very low level (insect ghost) then when insect develops some sort of independence it's moving bit higher to animal and later to human but there is problem that there is way too many humans and animals are being reassigned to human ghost and bodies while spirit is not there. That is causing problems or there is evolution happening on level of human ghost and people are changing it without them knowing.
