Not seen one of these threads in a very long time, it's especially important to remember what you've seen nowadays, as the internet is now more scrubbed and sanitized then it's ever been.
This thread is about things you've seen online once or twice and you could never find it again no matter how hard you tried to look. Anything is welcome as long as it's paranormal/spooky. Other forms of media like VHS, books, vidya also count as long as it's interesting enough.
>>40609048 (OP)I remember someone talking about some weird phenomena where you would enter a dead multiplayer game or chatroom that no one has used and wait. Eventually people would populate it and behave extremely oddly, they'd reference whatever pop culture was popular at the time of the server's peak, or have a profile that is extremely outdated.
Might have had something to do with the dead internet theory or AI but it was extremely interesting, can't find anything online about it.
>>40609077Not necessarily, sometimes things are out there and not entirely lost. It's just that using something like google will fuck you over, search algorithms have been intentionally made shitty to centralize the internet and prevent the spread of wrongthink. It's not the 2000s anymore...
which search engine do you guys use

>>40609048 (OP)I always swore I saw frazzledrip but I'm not sure. I remember it being done behind a paper screen or something, you could only see the silhouettes. Does this ring a bell with anyone or do I just have it wrong
>>40609048 (OP)I don't know how else to describe it other than a video of someone's rainbow aura that I've seen only twice during moments of intensely altered consciousness. It might have even been here on this website. But I know I saw a youtube style video of a humanoid figure that emanated rainbow light like those old aura photography films. Picture the humanoid aliens from AI : Artificial Intelligence but made of rainbow light.
>>40609048 (OP)Still can't find the rippen tapes.
>>40609048 (OP)Once played the Wii version of CoD WoW and in the campaign there was a scene where a PoW got his head split open, ripped in half (Mortal combat style), and then slammed back together as the character was killed.
The scene disturbed me at the time so much that Iโve always remembered it for some reason. Every time I try to go back and find the cutscene, itโs not there. Has frustrated me for a while

>>40609048 (OP)I read a theory once about a specific type of Bible code that I never heard of again. Essentially it was saying ever Hebrew letter represented a word. I think based on what it looked like as a pictograph. And so, as a result of that, every Hebrew word has an entire sentence coded into it, so every sentence is equivalent to a paragraph. Based on this reading it was determined that the Bible actually was telling another story esoterically. I think this was a theory from a secular scholar initially, and then I saw a Christian site promoting it. Anyway, after I first heard about that I never came across it again and can find nothing about it.
>>40613395one motherfucker did this at the fair in town. He leaned back too far and rippen through that canvas ceiling above him. I guess it fling him about a block away before he landed in somebody's yard.
They still use the same machine, but there's a huge duct tapped patch over one of those triangles in the ceiling.
>>40609098Worlds. You're thinking of Worlds.
>>40614998Worlds was one of the places where the phenomena was present, but it wasn't that specifically. You could apparently do it on any dead online place, like an old IRC chat or a old game that used to be thriving like Half-Life Deathmatch, Quake or Unreal Tournament.

Okay, throwing this out there. I'm looking for a book. When I was 15 to 19 I got to know a man who was in his 80s. (William/bill blanton) he and his wife worked for lockheed skunk works at s4 groom lake. He was not a poser, his wife was the first female who worked as a engineer at LM advanced development.
He had loads of material from his LM days, guy had a amazing home he designed and lived in, in the sierra nevadas northern california. I still have some pages he printed 6 pages for me that outlined his life like a short autobiography. But here's what I'm looking for and could never find and if someone out there is more resourceful than me maybe they could find this:
Bill did not have children, his wife passed away when I was 18, he was deeply in love with her they worshipped eachother. They were the most amazing people I've ever met. I joined the Marines when I was 18 nothing special just 0311 reservist. I figured I'd ask him about ayos and area 51 (back then I really did not believe in aliens or antigravity crafts made by DOD) when I asked questions he always gave me the same answer "I can't they there is I can't say there is not."
That always bugged me a bit because he was living out the last days of his life. When his wife died you could tell he went down hill very fast and was not the same. He had no children and his wife was gone ( there was nothing they could do to him to punish him, plus this was 2009 and we were not carrying around cellphones and no one would know he told me. Plus he knew me for a while by then and trusted me and I was now a Marine and I thought that would show him I was not a dangerous person to share a secret with)
He acted like there was someone always listening to him, I remember seeing him looking up to the sky like there was a helicopter or somthing listening to him whenever I asked him about these things. He seemed slightly fusterated when I brought it up.
He did tell me some things, and in retrospect..
My story of my search for bills book Continued:
In retrospect I think he was pushing the limit on what he could tell me. Ibdisticly remember my father joking about antiaircraft with him and him taking it oddly seriously. My father is not into ufo stuff at all.
The last few times I visited him he gave me some books on sterling engines. I was showing interest in engineering and he was happy about that and enjoyed teaching me things.
He ended up giving me a book, the book I am now looking for. It was titled "evolution alive and well" the first page noted that he originally titled it "the monkeys are running the zoo". He said he tried to get it published and failed to do so but I don't think he tried hard.
I read the book once but keep in mind I was not into ufos yet. The book was a fictional story about a old farmer who picks up a African American hitchhiker and the conversation that ensued on the long drive. The man was from a fictional place in Africa that was a breaknoff civilization. The people in this village lived to 225 years old. They had culture where you changed disciplines every 25 years or so. They had odd social behaviors and the book outlined the differences of our culture verses his. Each chapter was a topic like war, relationships, economy. The book was about 130 pages and the copy he gave me was printed and put together with a spiral spine and the front and back page were laminated. He was a amazing artists and the cover was a detailed pencil drawing of his face.
I lost the book when I was 21, bill already passed away by then and now I was getting into the whole ufo thing and searched for it everywhere. I never found it again.
I searched the internet. I found a different non fiction book in the search results that spoke of a man named Bill blanton who was killed at sight l85 in Laos but this really tripped me out because my bill mentioned working at sight l85 in Laos durring Vietnam.
Continued... the result came from the fbi library So i sent and email mentioning I knew bill. A day later my parents called me and said a man from the fbi library called me and I was to call him back. I told the man my story and he told me it was another LM contractor named Bill blanton and it was just a quincidence.
I never found the book and I desperately want a copy of it. I know it was never published but I know a copy has to be out there somewhere.
One of the last times I spoke to him he told me when I'm done with my 4 years if I finish college he would help me get a job at LM. (Did not happen because he died)
I now work a really cool engineering job that works in parallel with dod doing what I love. But It's not secret or lowspeed/high drag.
Just throwing this out there.
Scrubbed shit rare files

>>40615265>>40615381>>40615417Did Bill have any relatives that you haven't mentioned, obviously his parents are dead at his age and he had no children, but what about any siblings, nephews, nieces or in-laws? Also, ask if anyone local to where he lived remembered him and ask around on places like facebook where retirees from Skunk Works or Lockheed Martin might frequent, maybe one of them knew him.
Hope you find your book anon, it sounds cool.
>>40615417also check book/thrift stores that were close to where he lived, unlikely but it's worth a try. Someone must have done something with his house and belongings once he died.
