I feel almost ridiculously more sensitive after having sex and a girlfriend, with whom I broke up with, even many months later. I don't know if I psychically altered or removed a part of my soul. I cry more often over unrelated things and feel certain emotions more intensely - if I had ever cried before it was only for God who I've always felt a strong connection with (I don't care much for my parents and the rest of my family doesn't exist or matter to me) - but now it is for that along with other random things too.

your soul is your existential being. your memories, your emotions, your experiences.

losing a relationship absolutely causes reevaluation of a lot of relational structures in your life. dont worry, you arent broken, emotions serve purposes, and feeling them doesn't mean they control you, it just means they have significance to your past, your present, and your future.

you deserve love, anon.
having ever been in one is proof that people do love you, too.
dont be afraid of knowing that youre human.

and dont be afraid to try again, once you remind yourself that one relationship failing is not proof you're an overall relational failure
