Ever since I moved to North Carolina in 2020, I’ve been seeing strange dark figures in my apartment at night. I’ve never had anything like this happen before, and I swear I’m not making this up.

It started with a single kid standing silently in the corner of my room. Then it escalated. Two children wearing gas masks appeared at the foot of my bed. Later, I started seeing tall, shadow-like figures (slender, faceless men) standing on my shelves or even hanging from the ceiling fan.

Now, they’re no longer static. They move. They shift, crawl, and sometimes pace slowly around the room. The weirdest part? This only happens when I’m at home. Whenever I go on vacation, nothing happens.

I’ve tried using holy water and religious relics, but it hasn’t helped. People keep telling me it’s just sleep deprivation or night terrors, but it feels too real & too consistent to dismiss like that.

Has anyone else experienced something like this? How do I stop it?

I’d check the mundane first, make sure there’s no gas leak or anything. If not do a cleanse.

you have to get your house blessed by a Catholic priest. Also buy 5 saint Benedict medals, have a priest say the old latin right exorcism over them or the Benedictine exorcism prayer. Bring it to him because none of them actually know it. Also if you take salt and oil to him, have him say the old rite over those. Byzantine priests appear to have stronger exorcism powers though, but are not as common. Catholic churches are everywhere. Just go up to him afer mass. The oil is used to seal all entrances to your house with the sign of the cross. The salt is to put on the ground on all thresholds. The priest will also go to your house and bless it if you ask him or get another priest to do it. In the meantime, the Saint Michael prayer is very helpful for removing dark presences. If they are just ghosts, the Saint Gertrude prayer is the one to start with, and say it a lot with the intention of helping your roommates move on. I'm sure they aren't near the front of the line. This absolutely works and I and others have personally done this to remove spirits.
