I certainly don't feel like God talks to me every day, but only once in a while in experiences and dreams outlined in my paper. How do I better listen to this God and hear Him who speaks to me every day when I fail to hear Him even in hours of reverent prayer?

Here's something you probably never considered.
Everything you can experience could be caused by God or prevented by God.
That means it's a manifestation from God's will.
AND
it's communication.
That's right, every single second of every single day God is speaking to you implicitly, as in nonverbally and in an implied manner.
Silent speech.

Are you talking through your prayer all the time, or are you listening to and through your heart?
Prayer can just be quiet contemplation of awareness and love, Gods presence can be felt and heard more easily in that circumstance.
Last time I did DMT I was sitting in a chair praying and feeling my awareness of the sky and earth, and I felt this presence of light in the form of an angel of the lord, and that angel received my prayer and disappeared when I stopped. It was very subtle, but I had that very distinct impression of the angel before me listening to my prayer to convey it to God.

You can pay attention to everything around you and find His meaning in it. Mapping. If you're a woman find your man to serve and find your people for Him as he maps. Don't get discouraged by the way of the world because that eventually adjusts as you follow Him, but also try to make common sense moves. Advanced: people are definitely out there trying to fuck you, flying to a warzone to preach might be better than getting a grocery job in current climates. Regardless, stay faithful, worship Jesus Christ, love and serve.

The forces of the universe are a single unified field comprised entirely of stillness and motion. Stillness is coherency. Motion is chaotic.

You must attempt to become as coherent as possible in order to build your spirit body. You can do this by living in harmony with creation. Be filled with the light of the world and let it pour outward from you. You will become happy and light and will begin to uplift people simply from your very presence. And evil will not be able to tolerate your existence and will slip away from you.

Heaven is the place of ultimate coherency. It is as still as you can possibly become while not literally being God himself, which is perfect stillness, pure power, coherency, and potentiality.

Coherency is inertia against movement. The more coherent you become, the more you resist movement, or more specifically, you resist entropic decay. If you build harmonic coherency in your life, you are building your soul vessel. You will live longer, be healthier, be happier, etc. And when you finally die, your consciousness will remain and you will naturally attune to the place that is closest to the level at which you resonate. If you are properly in phase with a heavenly realm, you will be drawn to it and will be able to stay. If you are destructive, dissonant, inharmonious, and diametrically opposed to the realm of heaven itself, you cannot enter. Not because they do not want you there, but because you are incapable of entering.

Coherency = Harmony
Incoherence = Dissonance

And it is as simple as that. Attune to one and not the other. They are opposing directions, though you get to decide which one to choose to go toward. The universe has its own harmonics. You do not determine what the resonant harmonic is for coherency. You must align with the Universal harmonic, not the other way around

Inward focus. Inward motion. Collection of energy. Resistance to entropic bleed off. Happiness. Gratitude. Love.

Those are all symptoms of coherency. The light is a feeling of pure bliss.

You can entrain and collect coherency in multiple ways. Meditation. Harmonious living in General. Technological means. No matter how you get it, you must attempt to gather as much as possible and hold it within you for as long as possible. This entails things such as"

listening to harmonious music that builds you rather than destroying you
being kind to others and not letting them bother you (to protect your psyche from vengeance, anger, and regret)
Practicing forgiveness, to let the evil out of you
Physically resonating your body at golden harmonics, providing an orderly restructuring of your anatomy
Inward focused prayer NOT outward focused prayer unless you are intending to affect the world specifically
Using technological means to divert dielectricity into your body
Intentionally choosing not to interact with disharmonious people
Chanting or keeping time or refrain at harmonic intervals to entrain your nervous system at the correct frequency (phi)

These are all soul building activities and are the ultimate good that you can do. The only and only thing you should be doing is building harmony and focusing inward into yourself. Eventually it will just spill out on its own accord when you are no longer able to contain it and you will radiate goodness into the world without effort. That is how you know that you have 100% made it. And if you're worried about hell, don't be. As long as you are not overwhelmingly evil and incoherent, you will not suffer afterward, but you can try again
