it's unhealthy to fantasize about such things.

as I get older, I make an effort to give people the benefit of the doubt no matter how bad something looks. gifted people fail too, the pressure of competence must be immense. the internet is one giant negative dogpile lately and I feel bad for contributing to it.

Apologizing by itself is meaningless considering who you're dealing with.

In any event, I'd be more than happy to see these people get saved and avoid the torments of hell, and if the person is indeed saved, he's no longer an enemy but a new creature and brother in Christ.

The only way that would happen is if they saw real magic, and going by the pic it wouldn't be your god doing it.

It's not for me to either judge them or forgive them. If, like, Trump or Putin or Netanyahu or whatever made a teary eyed appearance on television, talking about how much they regret the terrible things they did and solemnly swearing they'll spend the rest of their lives atoning for it I'd honestly just expect them to go back to their old ways the minute the cameras are off.

If they actually did follow it up by retiring from their offices, conceding all political power and spending the rest of their lives (which, let's be honest, considering they're all ancient probably won't be that much) trying to help the people they hurt I guess I'd give them some credit for doing so, even if it might in the end be a matter of "too little, too late".

everyone loses their way, doesnt matter who they are, even me, and it might happen again, we don't know the future that well, it's just a matter of building a good foundation for the next generation to look back into and remember the core values of having faith on one another, and unto ourselves,
of course, its a matter of accepting the past mistakes and doing better with the next steps
it's ironic, the closer to hell one gets the more they remember to do good, the closer to god one might think they are, the more forgetful they are from the golden rules that's been attempted to be taught over the years
it's a neverending cycle of trying to remember everything while knowing nothing lasts forever, but i have faith that the human spirit will last for eternity as long as we maintain that faith into one another and the common good, and hopefully the greater good from one another, peace be with you anon, and everyone ITT
