If there is only one God, how come there are over 4500 religions in the world? How likely is it that all 4500 religions are true at the same time?

Exoteric human cultural practices have very little to do with God, the ineffable ground of awareness.

People are scared and are always looking for the "objective" truth. The claims of the one true God is important to consider because there has to be some degree of results with it. That's why it continued and why pagans converted. If there wasn't any discernible truth, why quit the old gods?

Those lesser gods are administrators and caretakers of creation. They are called angels in abrahamic faiths. There is always and only one God who sits supreme above all others.

They are all god and not god
Like the concept of fabric
Many things are fabric and fabric is many things but there is no one all encompassing fabric yet fabric encompasses all the types of fabric is it

There are 5 religions. + the Shintos and the Sikhs.
All other are just cults of various size.

Actually the math says we should have infinite true religions.

Stop seeing the gods and see the meta of what the god's mean. They spawn in soul clusters around their religions.

False premise; Aphrodite says she's not the only one.

>The established language for communication with suprahuman intelligences was based on numbers and their symbolism. The fundamental principles of the world are heaven and earth, spirit and matter. Earth is the derived principle; therefore the number two is assigned to it. Heaven is the ultimate unity; yet it includes the earth within itself, and is therefore assigned the number three. The number one could not be used, as it is too abstract and rigid and does not include the idea of the manifold. Following out this conception, the uneven numbers were assigned to the world of heaven, the even numbers to the world of earth.

Highly unlikely as you would assume. This doesn't disprove God in general just that every religion is bullshit and has no clue and would rather have a comfortable lie than the harsh truth.

They're just pointers that vaguely lead towards the same truth, but none of them are the absolute truth with regard to God and existence itself.

The only thing I can undeniably believe and accept to be the truth without a shadow of a doubt in my mind, is consciousness itself. So I use this fundamental truth of consciousness to help guide my way on a spiritual and physical level, and also on a religious and scientific perspective as well.

Everyone sees the same Archetypal Gods are seen from different cultural perspectives! Inanna, Ishtar, Venus, Aphrodite, etc, are seen through different cultural lenses, but She's the same Archetype! So, there aren't 4500 religions. They complement each other, the Abrahamic God, OTOH, is seen as three versions of the same God, and they constantly fidget and fight over which one is the Correct, and which one is the Only One and True Faith! There's not only one God!

Multiple religions worship the same God, they just disagree on some details. It`s like how atheistic philosophies disagree about things but still exist in the same universe.

Zero, since some religions explicitly say that only they are true.

Well 4499 of them are wrong, and created by people who heard the one God but were so retarded they got His message wrong. There is only one true religion: Theistic Satanism.

In my opinion the afterlife and God are real so as long as you teach about that in some respect your religion is true

>Interpretatio graeca (Latin for "Greek translation") refers to the tendency of the Ancient Greeks and Romans to identify foreign gods with their own gods based on shared characteristics. For example, the Greeks would look at the Egyptians and go "our sun god Helios is similar to your sun god Ra, therefore we are worshiping the same sun god and we just interpret him differently".
>This was how the Greeks and Romans viewed other religions, they believed that all cultures worshipped the same gods, just under different names. The Greeks and Romans already did this with each othersโ€™ gods (some examples being Poseidon and Neptune, Zeus and Jupiter, Ares and Mars, Athena and Minerva, Aphrodite and and Venus, Hermes and Mercury, etc), so it makes sense that they did it with other culturesโ€™ gods as well.
