Over the past few years I've lurked here I've occasionally spoken to an anon that also felt spiritually connected to birds. If you are still out there bird anon pls hmu. I am that goshawk anon with the rescue parrots that chatted with you in your threads a few times. Most people ive spoken to who call themselves spiritually connected to animals/therians/kinnies/whatever seem to be terminally online teenage larpers but you were based. I would like to hear more about your experience and how your connection to birds affects your life

Why has spiritual connections to animals seemingly been wiped from most western religions and occult practices. It used to be a somewhat common folk practice/belief. now its associated with furries. What happened? Exploring aspects of the spirit and psyche through tropes animals embody has been extremely helpful to me on my journey and seems to have been historically common amongst a lot of religions
