Last night out of boredom I decided to do some personal tarot readings. On 2 separate readings in regards to my Past, Present, and Future, the future card I pulled both times was the Reversed Wheel of Fortune. I’ve read that this card doesn’t necessarily mean bad luck but repaying Karmic Debt, I also saw some Pajeet psychic the other day who I thought kinda sucked but he also mentioned that I would be paying Karmic Debt in the near future as well, essentially it’s too much to be a mere coincidence.

I’m a male 25, I live with my parents but work a full time job that has me on call 24/7 and I’m burnt out. I’ve lost favor or contact with any friends from College or HS, I have no GF, I’m completely isolated at this point socially my life is just wake up, gym, work, sleep. I have $100k saved from doing nothing but work since graduating and I’ve decided now is the time to move across the country like I’ve always wanted to for a fresh start of sorts. A factory reset on my life to try a build something new and more fulfilling.

I originally feared all this Karmic Debt readings meant I was making a mistake but looking further it may just mean I’m in for a turbulent time that can either make or break me.

I was wondering if anyone else here found themselves with similar readings in a similar situation that can help to shed light on this.

Every creature you kill, or cause to be killed, place a Karmic burden upon you. The Karma involved in factory farming is especially heavy, due to the conditions suffered by the animals before their slaughter.

Note that there is also some Karma involved in killing plants, but as they are not sentient, it is so small as to be of no practical importance to ordinary human life.

It's said that at the precipice of enlightenment, Amitabha Buddha declared that he would not become enlightened unless he was able to lead all other sentient beings to enlightenment with him.

As the title of buddha suggests, he is enlightened, and in a great act of compassion delayed his own liberation from samsara to lead us towards our own liberation, being one of the great bodhisattvas.

It's believed that if you live a right life, and with sincerity, recite Amitabha Buddha's name, you will be reborn in the Western Pure Land, Sukhavati, to pursue liberation alongside other sentient beings, bodhisattvas, buddhas, etc.

Of course, there are other schools of thought than Pure Land, and eight thousand paths to liberation. I encourage you to look into Buddhism, and to seek refuge in the Triple Gem!
