the jesters are specifically there to distract you from reaching higher zones and information until you’re ready. they’re annoying little threshold guardians and they act like fucking bugs. so many of them are jealous little fuckers too, coveting your physical form. sometimes I wonder if some were human at one point and miss physical sensation, negative or positive. creepy motherfuckers but relatively powerless and mindless from what I can tell. very territorial though and fuck up a LOT of people from what I can tell. people like Joe Rogan who only talk about jesters and machine elves and shit, how the whole experience is about taking things less seriously and all that basically are explicitly admitting they got relegated to the special ed classroom of the upper realms.
