The carrying capacity of Earth should be a public debate. Where is the math that the elites base their eugenics views on? Even if the math is solid, technological progress might help allow for an increase in carrying capacity.

We also have to worry about extraterrestrials that might want our resources. Rich greedy elites may not be the only predators to worry about. Water is abundant in many planets that NASA has yet to acknowledge. This increases the potential existence of advanced life forms. Only a healthy population level, technical capability and combat readiness will help against hostile takeover.
