What causes such a decline in so many good horror channels?

the battle is for your attention, all the attention goes to the orange man now. maybe if you hadnt left for a while (like many others) it would have kept going.

youtube channels look like they are homegrown but they are highly produced media that follows orders, hell even disney produces porn...

They never had integrity and only pursue the maximum way to profit off of their channel because they're a talentless hack. This is what happens to every single channel that ever gains a following regardless of genre. Talentless hacks with zero integrity are EXCLUSIVELY the ones who gain followings on YouTube.

all of those things aren't scary though. I never got the fear of ghosts, cryptids maybe, but ghosts literally can't even kill you or anything. Real Youtube horror was the old school artsy shit like I Feel Fantastic and shit like that. The more something actually tries to be creepy, the less creepy it actually is.

I am looking for evidence of paranormal activity. but all yt channel seem either fake or extremely underwhelming.
(also why do all of them seem to be from the UK?)

Jillian Mayer's channel isn't really horror per se, but some of the stuff on there is pretty good. This "Vortex" informercial stuck in my head for year.
