It's impossible to recreate the theme correctly even if you had the exact same model hardware he used for some reason. It's linked to the specific one he used. None of the other versions of the theme sound right. It really is one of if not the best tv themes ever made

You guys should watch Nowhere Man. Nobody mentions it ever but he did the theme for that too and the show is pretty awesome and /x/ material.

Here's another one: https://variety.com/2025/artisans/news/mark-snow-dead-x-files-ghost-whisperer-blue-bloods-1236447489/

It's sad there's no thread on /mu/ or /tv/. I had to read it on /x/.

Me too. I remember buying the CD hoping it would have a longer version of the theme, but it was the same length, and instead there were just a bunch of remixes. I wanted like a proper five minute version of the tune. The remixes were fine, but there's nothing like that original melody.

If I remember correctly, picrel had a long form of the theme worked into the CD which was around 45 mins of thematic music.

The menu music on the DVD box sets had portions taken from memorable scenes. I liked to leave it on in the background.

There was a several minutes long non-techno version, I do remember it.
