just another form of experience/expression for the eternal Being
lesser in intelligence but not in consciousness

Dogs are who teach monkeys about empathy, while cats teach monsters to hold back.

It would be great if we didn't have to treat them like we do, but we still treat our own kind very poorly. I hope that eventually both things change. However, I would never put the life of an animal above that of a fellow human being.

They are symbols of consciousness. For example lions are pride.

Or that is what I like to believe, but maybe in some very specific cases, I would, I don't know.

resources made by God for human use in food and skin.
They're made with different levels of perfection or goodness, and it fits to be nice to pet species due to their nature

Animals are, without exception, extraterrestrials. It's even mentioned in the Bible: Noah didn't simply save Earth's species; he piloted a spaceship, wrongly called "Noah's Ark." He brought these creatures back from another planet. They are not our brothers. They are alien entities, infiltrated on Earth. We must seriously consider their deportation to their home planet, despite its destruction. This is the ultimate goal of the Cosmos.

They are irrelevant but their stupidity can be annoying.

And animals that are neither used for animal consumption nor for making clothing, what are they for? You could argue that it's for natural selection, but God should simply have created, I don't know, plants capable of feeding other animals. In quotation marks, useful animals. What do you think?

They are sentient creatures, they are native to this planet just like we are and they have rights. I believe that the only reason that they are abused, besides plain ignorance and evil, is the lack of alternatives.

My name isn't in the Holy Bible, I'm not addressed in it in any different fashion than anyone else, so you are wrong.

It's likely that they're needed for the food chain and environmental equilibrium. The ones we deem bad like snakes are to punish men or have as natural "evil", although in modern times we have learned to use them too, e.g. taking a snake's venom for an antidote.
The Ocean is the big mystery as it is huge and we don't know most species in the deep levels.
Lastly one can argue from beauty, that the complexity of the world including them is to be a signature from God.

For by the greatness of the beauty, and of the creature, the creator of them may be seen, so as to be known thereby [Wisdom 13:5]

I am an animal, and like all animals I tend to put my own needs above the needs of others. However, as a social animal I do have a sense of kinship, and as a creative and intelligent animal I enjoy exploring new ways of using skills and tools to create new experiences for myself. As a result, I sometimes treat animals as though they are equal to myself. However, I am well aware that if I put the life of a fellow human above the life of another species, those who I depend on will turn against me.

Animals are more connected to their natural intuition than most of us
