but I think all these questions boil down to practical answers.
It's not the nature of telepathy that is evil, because two people with the "Holy Spirit" already, biblically, understand each other beyond the understanding of language, with the "Holy Spirit" providing translation,
But these things outside of Jesus are "off limits" because the demons (and fallen angels/false gods, which constitute everyone except Jesus, theoretically) are not truly loving entities.
If the human vessel is limited to be unable to observe and control the spiritual realms the majority of the time, and if the majority of spiritual entities are not entirely benevolent, then it would be unavoidable that any interaction with the spiritual realm outside of Jesus is potentially harmful.
Beyond that,
Jesus on the Cross is sort of like a euphemism for the snake on the cross in the desert- In other words, Jesus doesn't like being here in the fallen world. He doesn't enjoy it, it offends him, He showed us that by showing us how we would kill Him.
That was His way of saying "I'm not going to come hang out in sin. If you want to be around me, you must let go of sin, because I am a free will entity and I choose not to be around your willful sin".
So, when you realize that Jesus turns his face away from this world in that way, (in a certain sense),
You realize that the spiritual realm here is a free-for-all, and somewhat unsupervised.
So,
of course,
if there was a truly benevolent God, He would tell you,
"if you want me to save you and protect you, stop sinning, and don't participate with the spiritual realm outside of me ".
It makes perfect sense really.
It's exactly like a human father,
"if you want off the streets and to come home, you must quit the Meth and stop hanging out with Meth dealers, and you can't make your money selling meth, or call those friends who only do Meth once a week either".
Its a bad metaphor but applies.
