Regardless, they ARE real. It's not such a big deal either, you just need the right genetics. The downside is that you'll be tracked and relentlessly abused and traumatized for your abilities. There are certain people throughout the whole world that can literally hear people's thoughts from varying distances. Telekinesis is a little less common on Earth, at least on the surface. Clairvoyance is real, Teleportation is likely real as a biological ability (among certain species), Metamorphosis is real but it's very subtle among humans that are able to use it (changes in eye color, skin pigmentation, hair color, height, etc).
