Hey I use to go on 4chan all the time 2006-2012. I’m not saying this place ever didn't suck but it really sucked in a very different way after around 2012.

Anyways a friend mentioned to me 4Chan went under recently for good, which I see you all recovered from and it got me interested in a natal chart for 4chan which was actually easy to find an exact time for since Moot created a welcome post at launch.

This chart is quite spot on. Gemini Rising trickster air archetype and very much speaks to the wide variety of niche interest/hobby boards. Ruler of the ascendant, Mercury, is in the 4th house with Jupiter (lol basement dweller archetype is really showing up here). Mercury is in domicile as well as exaltation and in an angular house copresent Jupiter although badly afflicted by Mars. Still it is an extremely auspicious placement for Mercury. Jupiter making Mercury’s nature boundless and unrestrained really tracks. That opposition by Mars in the 10th house feels like how 4Chan’s public image is malefic in nature and how 4chan is seen as kind of sharp and vulgar.

Looking to sect Venus is the most positive planet and Saturn is the most negative in a night chart. Venus we find extremely auspiciously placed in domicile in Libra 5th house what was called the place of “Good Body” in antiquity. The topics included in the 5th house match to the topics of 4chan’s boards sex, games, art. Meanwhile the malefic of the sect not in favor, Saturn, the planet able to do most harm in this chart, is in the 2ed house of assets and income. Indeed Moot eventually left and was always plagued by funding errors with advertisers not wanting to be associated with the site.

There is so much more that can be said. For instance going through every house and looking to the ruler is incredibly spot on. The 9th has Neptune and Uranus which feel exacting to 4Chan’s nebulous and chaotic higher ideals (think scientology and raids) while the ruler of the 9th also dings back to that most negative Saturn. A Saturn that is not only negative by sect but also because it is in fall.

The 11th house of groups is in Aries and Impulsive reactive martial sign and the ruler is in the 10th speaking again to the nature of groups on 4Chan and it’s public image.

The ruler of the 12, a place of isolation, is in the 5th and referring to the extremely positive Venus placement.

Well the 10th house is where one would look to for public perception. The aggressive lesser malefic (negative) Mars is doing damage here. There is a tense opposing aspect from "the subterranean" place. Mercury and Jupiter in the 4th opposing Mars in the 10th reads as the public image is negative and the tension comes from the boundless shit posting happening in the 4th house. Jupiter is here lacking dignity because it is in Fall. This placement speaks to a disturbed sense of virtue on 4chan. The 10th house is also dinging back to the 4th since the ruler of the 10th is in the fourth these house are connected in the chart.

4chan's public persona by "normies" is definitely showing up in the chart I guess is what can be said about that question.
