>>40672678 (OP)How many of those drones are flying over remote forests right now? How much footage have they taken, and how much of it has been combed through for signs of cryptids? Surely you don't think everywhere in North America is being covered and monitored in real time - it'd be the single biggest employer in the USA if it was. Likewise for trail cams - you know "every tree" is hyperbole and so do I. I wonder what percentage of forest trail mileage is actually being monitored at any given moment? Impossible to say. However, the thrust of your argument is simple enough, and would be more effective if you phrased it better, you're wondering why all the Bigfoot footage is so old. Why isn't there any new evidence? I can't reasonably answer that and I've yet to see a Bigfoot enthusiast seriously attempt to. It does seem strange that the best footage is decades old. As far as I'm aware, new video and audio does "come out" on a semi-regular basis, so maybe the problem is that the data, such as it is, hasn't been collected and curated well enough to give us a better grasp on the statistics. Are there less sightings reported these days? I don't know, and I don't know how I'd find out. Maybe it's just that cryptozoology is going out of fashion.
