Did the concept of gods in ancient religions come about because of how everyone (men and women) back then had to deal with abusive father figures who beat them growing up and grovel before cruel arbitrary warlords/chieftains? Basically everyone no matter the sex or social status had to asskiss someone else and even those at the top had to placate nature and terrifying inhuman sky entities.
