The question is not 'can a mind contain an idea'. the question is, can the mind adapt when it encounters a given idea? if a mind cannot adapt, that idea tends to become God unless the heart is instructed.

What idea is your God?
What idea broke you?

Being, Wholeness, Providence, Saccidānanda, Awareness, Patiency, Love, Meaning, Unity, Source-Consciousness.

That kind of thing. Of course, the transcendent source in itself is ineffable. But we do know something about the intentionality that emanates from it thanks to the Gospel.

I think God as an idea is MEANT to break us. I think its the thing that breaks human's the right way. We're like glowsticks.

>What idea broke you?
The idea that broke me was
"The ultimate truth is actually super simple, perfectly balanced, leads to infinite play, (flawless in scope and potential), and obvious."

I agree with you. I didn't say ideas were God, or that God was an idea alone. God is certainly more than an idea, but they are an idea also, and contemplation on it can be a breaking experience if the mind cannot adapt to the idea as it integrates to meet the heart in what it already knows.

>The question is not 'can a mind contain an idea'. the question is, can the mind adapt when it encounters a given idea?
meaning adaptation desired.
>If a mind cannot adapt
what I'm missing, you say,
>that idea tends to become God
is other than God,
>unless the heart is instructed.
and your instruction.

do not collect your bonus.
turn in your burner phone.
you're terminated.

not simple,
but holy,
and inconcievable.
God is real.
His word isn't exactly "simple".
He is how He is.

what's hard with a suitable mind,
is believing in the first place.
it takes work and faith to get here.

when facing a fork between good and evil, that choice is "simple". that's just where the path starts.

but narrow is the good path,
broad is to damnation,
if it were simple,
He wouldn't have given us bread like that.
You want the simple version?
Jesus is the Son of God.

you know what's simple and fits this description and is the broad way?
"do as thou wilt".

also true, but it won't save you.

Interestingly enough it was the many worlds interpretation, because it shows how scientists play with the idea of energy like it's a toy.
