>>40679757 (OP)>Tell me /x/ What is happiness and what is the easiest method to achieve it?"Happiness is not a goal; it is a by-product of a life well-lived."
-Eleanor Roosevelt
"Happiness is a state of activity."
-Aristotle
A couple of important caveats on the Aristotle "quote". He is often quoted like that but that's more of a summary of what he taught than a direct quote. I believe there is also an important distinction that must be made which will help you tremendously.
Something was lost in translation as "happiness" doesn't really cover what he's talking about. His teaching was more along the lines of "Eudaimonia is a state of activity." which can be better described in translation as "Reaching a state of peace and harmony down to the core of your being is a state of activity, not something you passively achieve."
Step by step guide to be "happy":
1) Find behaviors and activities that speak to your individual soul/spirit
2) Engage these behaviors enough to be in harmony with your inner being
3) Be "happy"
