my friend told me this when he was black out and doesn't remember

the soul is stronger then the spirit cause it doesnt require logic to work

when i pressed him on what work means he just mumbled life and some other nonsense i dont really remember as i was drunk too

The soul is just something that you have, like your consciousness. You experience your consciousness, you don't need to justify or explain it through logic, you already know it for what it is, I guess

But the spirit on the other hand is something more like your mentality, your way of thinking and feeling. You ever hear the phrases "fighting spirit" or "my spirit is broken" or "fiery spirit"? Now there's room for explaining what your spirit is, or what's mine. There's room for logic now. This is my opinion.

The soul is the creative power, it's life, lust and liberty, it's the beauty in the world, memory, movement. The spirit is nothing without the soul. To be honest, I'm not even sure why the spirit exists. Maybe it's pure consciousness, or force of will.
