I've been thinking about this all day, it came to me while listening to a video about the history of folklore and Rumpelstiltskin. True names are important right? But how do you know what your true name actually is?

I mean, I have a name, it's on my birth certificate but is that really me? Is that really my true name or do I need to find my true name? I have to be honest, I've never really felt a connection to my name before, it's just what people call me.

I hadn't really thought of my own name like this before but names have always been important in the occult, mythology and irl. A true name describes your very essence, who and what you are. I never really thought much about my given name and I wonder if it really has any meaning for me.

The true name of something is its vibrations.
Imagine a crystal vibrating an energy signature - that is it's true name, and it is unpronouncable.

The true name of something is supposed to describe its vibrations. But you are always changing as you grow and develop, and consequently your name must change.
