I took it upon myself to boost the contrast by a shit ton. Frankly, what I believe to be happening is that there is an arm with a dark sleeve holding up the head / shoulder combo, and the exposure has been fiddled with to obscure the arm. That being said, no structures are exposed, which we can see indicates the complete lack of a body on the "alien", leading to my conclusion it is a head and shoulder combo, like in this link:
