I have different ''personas'' I try to be kind to others even if I don't feel like it so I have a persona who is essentially all my rage and hatred; and another one is extremely carefree and has no moral compass at all, just doesn't care and think everything is a joke

Is there a way to merge them? It's exhausting

How did these different personas originate, exactly?

The carefree one was because I was trying to be funny in school because I wanted to fit in and I was lonely The edgy angry one happened because I couldn't express my anger with my family because I was too weak to defend myself and I also felt lonely and rejected, like an outcast

Have you ever tried communicating to yourself that you are one person and not some 3 blokes in a trench coat?

A few times, I'm closer to merging now I think but it's kinda like each of them has an ''ego'' kinda as if there were a completely different personality

It is common for people with multiple personalities (which isn't necessarily DID; a disorder) to have them merge.

Persona is simply a fake image of yourself you want others to see you as. So you can just drop it

Go somewhere where nobody fucking knows you and just be yourself. It's not that hard.

Your honesty is a big help to yourself. I think you are more further along than you realize. Others have commented about the detrimental effects on modern society for not having a rite of passage into adulthood. Just understand that the grown-up world is exactly what some of us as kids feared it was, i.e, just an extension of middle/high school bullshit with a thin, fake veneer of maturity. So it's no wonder that the youth find themselves not only at odds with society but also with themselves. Accept who you are with compassion, as this anon >>40689155 gets it. No need to pretend to be kind if you fully integrate every aspect of yourself. Despite the chaos of the world, you begin to have a peace of mind bestowed upon you by the choice you have made to align yourself according to the principles of truth which you innately hold dear. This, against the backdrop of the almost deafening, useless buzz caused by those that chose to rewrite history in real time for personal gain and disgustingly distort truth into multiple choice. See this website and social media as examples. Not so odd that the goal post movers have monetized that very action. No client list, my ass.
You finding out who you are is a part of the process of being alive. One can't ignore the contrarians waging war on empathy. That word scares them because it unravels their grift and illusions of power. Your personal growth is a lifelong journey as the world around us continues to change. It's up to you, anon.
Pic very related. You might get a kick out of reading Hulk 370 through 378. Maybe your local library has a copy of Peter David Incredible Hulk Omnibus 2 (issues 369-400).
