besides noesis type ordeals, what ive noticed, is that for some unexplainable reason, i always find myself in situations where people are gifting me clothes (their old ones, or they buy me them new) and food (often very randomly), and everytime this happens, the people doing it are always enamored by my "knowledge" and ask me for life advice

The average person doesn't have much discerning power between good and evil or wise and unwise. You might have something within that they like, it doesn't mean much I think.
