I don't mean that they're haunted, but that because they were the site of so much trauma--especially sudden, unexpected trauma--that there is some kind lingering energy imprint that can be felt?
Kind of like how, iirc, phantom limb pain is more common after traumatic rather than medical amputation.

In my neighborhood there is an area with badvibes. It’s these two culdesacs that back up to one another but are a few streets away from one another because of the layout and the general area is really bad vibes. I imagine some demonic activity goes on there.
Also certain old world buildings def have vibes and spirits associated with them esp places with lots of prior demonic activity or suffering.
