I recently bought a dvd of m3gan. I remember watching it in theaters when it came out and really liked it. So me and my boyfriend wanted to watch it again and he found it at a target nearby and it was cheap so he picked it up for us. It was the unrated version obviously. So we watch it. At one point around an hour later theres this weird sort of static like cut and theres like a color change. The tone was different and a bit darker. But the biggest change was the scene. It was a totally different character being tied up to a chair, it was a woman. This character was never seen or mentioned before in the movie. She looked a bit like Toni Collet in Hereditary (making this comparison to describe it quick and not to make this post too long) M3gan shows up and mocks her, calling her daughter a little whore who 'enjoyed every second of it'. Me and my bf looked at each other like wtf was going on. We didn't saw this scene at theaters so we thought it was a feature for the unrated version. Immediately M3gan plays a recording touching her chest and screaming starts along with a lot of crying (sounded like a little girl) and then the girl starts yelling she wants her mom. The woman cries when listening to it and then in the recording we hear a man yelling at the little girl and hitting her. We couldn't make out what the man said, it was a different language we couldn't make out. M3gan just stares at the woman and smiles. Me and my bf were beginning to feel uncomfortable. But then the worst part came and we hear the man kinda like breathing deep and the girl crying louder. M3gan tells the mom that she was enjoying it right there. The man breathes faster until the girl beggings gurgling and the man moans horribly. Then the girl stops making all noises and M3gan tells the mom "those last moments were the best of her life". The mom just cries and screams. Then the movie went back to normal. We finished the movie but we were left speachless after that disgusting scene.

I asked people who have the unrated dvd and they've told me they don't have that scene at
all. Some have even thought Im sick cuz they think Im pranking them. I am not making
this messed up shit up. Me and my bf saw it. And we still can't get over such thing. Has anyone else seen this too? It cannot be that we of all people happened to get this sort of exclusive edition for lack of a more accurate term. And I can't understand the filmmakers putting a random unconnected scene in the middle of a movie and of such a horrible thing that doesn't fit at all with the rest of the movie.

Yeah no of course no way in hell we'll keep it. It's atrocious. I'll follow your advice and take it to the police and target too. Makes me and my bf very scared cuz we want to have children and this whole thing made us think 'do we really want to bring a child to this world?' I fear he or she will not be very safe.
