In Christianity, Being kind to enemies is a moralistic law. In Buddhism, it's a meditation technique that increases your concentration powers. Christianity doesn't tell you anything useful that you're supposed to do with its teachings, it just says "do this to maybe get allowed past the gatekeeper".
