Is creating a separate reality with your mind possible?
Occult esoteric shows like Invader Zim had the character Dib create a separate reality full of evil creatures using only his mind, and Adventure Time's Ice King had a gender reversed version of reality existing inside his own mind.
I feel like there must be some truth to this. In the Invader Zim episode, I even remember the evil creatures using Dib's head as a portal to the human world.

Yes it's called a delusion. A lot of people do it right here on this board. :)

Okay, then please tell me why these occult-based cartoons seem to use this strange concept. Just curious.

Like scoob, the whole point of television is to like be able to mass produce and then project these separate realities into your mind in the form of tv shows and cartoons and video games and stuff, and like the whole point of that is just to keep your attention for long enough to be able to get you to sit through advertisements and product placement, mostly just so that you buy more things, or fear more things, or develop anxieties that can then be treated with expensive drugs that you need a doctor to get or something man…

Dude, they just use these concepts for storytelling and poke fun at them. To take these seriously because someone is putting in media only shows how delusional you are looking for answers that aren't there.

I don't think so. That spic guy who created Invader Zim references a lot of esoteric and genuine occult shit.
>>40705653
If that were the case, TV networks would not have spent ridiculous amounts of money on animation when live action is always cheaper and more efficient. Yes TV conditions us to consume, but there is so much more to it than that. CIAniggers literally give out plotlines ffs. They use predictive programming and occult symbolism constantly. I'd say the consumerism aspect is more of a front for the main purpose.

There’s more predictive programming in Invader Zim than you think. Nothing is at it seems. That’s the only certainty we have.

I hate that it's such a brilliant show. Though cringe slipped in it at times, the entertainment value and humor makes you just want to watch every episode. It seems stupid at first glance, but it's intelligent as fuck if you watch it now. I just hope whatever else is to come in our world isn't nearly as horrible as the show.

Maybe because he likes it? Vasquez mentioned multiple times that Dib is loosely based of him. I've made stories with eldritch horrors from other realms does that mean they exist? No I just like the concept lol.

It is possible, but it isn't something you do consciously. Twin Peaks featured this concept as a major plot point at the very end of the story. Not too surprising considering how most of Lynch's other works follow suit. Lynch was a major fan of The Wizard of Oz, both the book and film. Oz's author belonged to Theosophy (a major influence on Lynch), and we all know how the ending of the story goes, particularly the film version.

The process of dreaming allows you to construct worlds based on lived experiences while bypassing the barriers that prevent you from jumping into various unseen realities. That's why so many people report being contacted by dead relatives or being told of future events via dreams.

Escaping this reality for another I created would not be lonely. In fact, I'd ensure myself that I'd get a harem composed of thousands of beautiful women who don't nag, and obey every command.

True, but Invader Zim is an absurd show to target very young demos with. That and Adventure Time went after teenagers.

I've been trapped in the dream world before and had to be rescued by a talking white tiger. You absolutely can make yourself dream endlessly. In fact i want to do it again. You can lucid dream and slow down time in a dream so that your dream feels like weeks or months when it's only lasting hours. It's a good idea if you need a break from this awful world

There are ways to interact with these realities.

>lucid dreaming
>falling into a comatose state
>focused and dedicated meditation
>integrating loving-compassion and kindness into your life (related: morphic fields)
>using psychedelics

Having a healthy diet is extremely important. Make sure you're getting your probiotics (eat more mushrooms, almonds, sourdough bread) and enough magnesium and iron.

interested in what you have to say. i haven't seen it in ages, and one of my DVDs has a factory error so one ep, icr which, couldn't be watched past a certain point. but i got all 3 volumes way back when, after a friend introduced me to it.
my memory's hazy, but what themes stood out to you? Bad Rubber Piggy is definitely the mandela effect ep, and there was another where the school bus got stuck in a looping sub-simulation. and one kid really really liked a dog. the organ harvesting ep might've had a few different meanings, child sacrifice standing out, but perhaps also specific rituals involving organs.

There's also an episode where Zim replaces a kid's eyes with mechanical ones to make him see whatever he [Zim] wants him to see. And yeah the organ episode was a literal organ trafficking episode LOL not very subtle. I guess it fits the "alien" theme though

To be honest, I just think the creator Jhonen probably found conspiracies/paranormal stuff interesting back then and tied it into Invader Zim. His works have always been darker in general so it makes sense that Invader Zim would be influenced by that.

Didn't the show get canceled because they slipped in an image of Gir all bloody during the theme. Most people couldn't even notice it, what a weird thing to flash quickly to an audience of unsuspecting children whose subconscious is being influenced. I'm not saying I don't think it's possible the writers are freemasons fed disclosure from the CIA but if you know the creator at all, then it starts to make sense.

i thought the main reason was JV was just hard to work with, but the main things were it had a surprisingly long run and got away with astonishing content, but was super expensive. the cost associated with producing it was just too much to bear.
when you understand how soulless repto corporate bosses are (look up Voltaire's "Brain song" story) - it's no surprise a smaller reason to cancel IZ was "because 8 year olds weren't into it", despite teens loving it. which sounds made up, but reptos don't think like humans do, so their soulless robot logic also makes sense.
but the production costs were the main thing.

there is no point to a life where most of the life is spent not wanting to be alive

on second thought, if you can figure things out and use the resources you do have to create something that helps you and figure out a way to look at things that makes you happier, then you can make something good out of something bad. Taoism helped me learn this.

I think the official reason of it being too expensive and not having many viewers is reasonable. The show has insane animation and difficult/unusual character designs to handle.
Plus the writing of the new season wasn't as good or special as the first.
>>40716417
Don't think any of the execs knew about bloody gir, pretty sure it was cancelled before that was common internet knowledge. The show was so fantastic but the new movie wasn't special at all, totally dumbed down, so the show must've been so special not only because of Jhonen but a few other people working at nickelodeon at the time. Wondering if the comics are worth it at all?
>>40705364 (OP)
It's such a perfect show, it's one of those things I'm amazed by it just existing, like twin peaks. Don't know about the "predictive programming" angle, such conspiracies and media "disclosure" give me a vibe of paranoia and obsession honestly. Think it's more reasonable that Jhonen was interested in conspiracy theories and had one or a few writers, animators or producers with esoteric knowledge on such matters. Same with Lynch working with Frost, Lynch's intuition with Frost's more grounded metaphysical and paranormal-history understanding creating such an absurdly true piece of television.
Invader Zim does paint such an accurate picture of the world today though that it does feel a bit creepy.
