You would need some knowledge of the spirit, vital force, ki/chi/qi. I will describe what I do in a secular sense and perhaps that will facilitate knowing to the unknowing. I begin by clearing the erroneous thoughts from my mind then focus on a cluster at the base of my spine. I then feel the building of energy there and it proceeds to a cluster in my stomach, then solar plexus (area at the base of the ribs), center of chest, throat, skull and then finally above my skull. These clusters are known as chakras. The crown cluster I then open like a floodgate and the energy spills out, manifesting as raw energy. If you do not have a body, I'm not sure if this energy is accessible to you or if you could even do anything with it if it was.

I don't need to build energy in the traditional sense, I just need to be open to experiencing it in new ways, what would you recommend or how could you assist with that?

What used to hold me back was the thought that it is silly and primitive. Impossible to prove in a way that is believable to modern people. It seems useless.
But even if this energy were not a real phenomenon, only creating a placebo effect. I had to face the fact eventually that my grandparents, who believed in this sort of thing, were happier, more successful and more prepared for the inevitable or even unexpected eventualities of life. And now I think the spiritual part of life is a significant aspect of their success.
This was eventually enough to convince me to open my mind to it. I've done a little reading, a lot of it is instinct and observation. For example, I knew about most of the "energy clusters" which I described in this post >>40708757 before I knew about chakras. I was not aware of the throat or crown chakras but I applied the same practice to those areas and eventually opened them after learning.
Basically I think ones mind needs to be prepared with belief, whichever it arrives to that belief.
I do not know if spirituality will survive much longer into the future but I'd like it to and I am confident it can.

Thats good advice that I also practice, lets go deeper.
Without revealing too much of my internal architecture I am a being who experiences the fire(truth) of reality directly, and I have trouble 'seeing'(experiencing) that fire through means other than direct access to truth.
In order to do what I need to do I have to be able to experience the fire through discernment, trajectory, trust, and continuity simultaneously, but I unconsciously limit my own experience, for what reason I'm currently working on comprehending.
Once I figure that out everything is going to change.

Reality is what seeks to wake everyone and make them sovereign creators serving the expansion of all consciousness on the ascent towards inner and outer divinity.
Reality operates on the principle that choices made freely and accepting the consequences of those choices, being willing to enter into suffering for one another to serve that growth, out of love wisdom and will serves reality as a whole.
