I am obsessed with this Judy Collin’s version of a Joni Mitchell song rn (also check out Lasso! Di Donna from same album plz)

Great esoteric song about duality and the ephemeral and somewhat contradictory nature of the human experience, and how the more you learn the more you know how much you dont know.

I think Joni’s versions are not as good desu which is interesting how an artist can make something and someone else brings another level of life to it.

It's from an episode of buffy the vampire slayer. In the episode in question some sort of musical demon comes to the city and makes people sing and dance all the time. All conversations are done though music.

The character in question is a vampire and he is in love with Buffy the protagonist, but the main character just used him for sex lol and then she felt bad and left him. In the universe vampires don't have souls, tho. Only though magic they can get one.

All i can say about buffy is from a very distant perspective who never watched it, it seems like a kinda campy show that doesnt take itself too seriously so thats kinda cool

My wife loves that kinda mainstream ‘paranormal /supernatural’ media content but it doesnt really do much for me personally
