What started as monitoring Japan's EQ activity due to circulating prophecies has morphed into more or less just hanging out and observing the activity of earthquakes, solar weather, solar flares, volcanic activity, with some smatterings of astrology, HAARP/DEWs, and other shit that might be relevant. A lot of discussion has circled into speculating and observing how things like earthquakes and volcanic activity can appear to be effected by solar events. Modern science keeps everything pretty compartmentalized, but when you start observing, in my opinion it becomes clear there is a relationship between the two.

the patterns seems to be large quake on outer rims and smaller ones in middle of swarm. Rarely do you get any big quakes in epicenter of swarms

You're totally right, it's pretty quiet today in comparison the previous few. Would you mind sharing that timelapse of the 2011 quake again, please? I noticed yesterday the bigger quakes mostly took place across the main subduction zone, and smaller ones scattered between everything.

So I'm quick a quick flip through today's quake data, and want to make mention of this if you're looking at US based maps; USGS and PNSN both operate on a M-F banking hour schedule. Usually weekends look pretty slow, and then Monday we'll see backlogs of smaller stuff that gets manually verified if the data isn't high enough quality to make it to website through auto updates.

The sun and the moon, anon. That's my guess, anyway. 11PM EST is noon in Japan. At least that's my theory. I see far more significant quakes during the area's daytime versus night time.

Those are p-waves and s-waves, or primary and secondary. Primary waves can move through solids, liquids, and gasses, as opposed to secondary, which can only move through solids. Not a dumb question :)

Not necessarily a lie. From what I gather, the artist had the dream on the 5th of July, but predicted the event would occur sometime during July. People latched onto July 5th as the predicted date of the event.

Alrighty, I'm home now and looking through things! The dot has been all over the place, but it was nice to see some deep blue for a bit. Hopefully that's something we see more of.

Japan is really quiet today.

Only 102 quakes for the past 24 hours over 2.0, but yesterday was just shy of 500 quakes in 24 hours. But, one think I'm seeing is that most of today's quakes are shallow. Ranging between less than 4mi / 6.5km deep, and up to 12mi/20km on average. There's a few right at the surface where the swarm we've been watching is. I saw less than five quakes more than 100km / 62mi. Shallow quakes are usually felt more on the surface, since the energy doesn't have to travel as far to the surface before it disperses. Deep quakes, common in South America, usually aren't felt as intensely, even in higher magnitude.

@EarthquakeAnon you got any interesting screengrabs from twitter and stuff like the ones you've been posting? And update on their findings of the cracking on the sea floor?

Quick morning update: 6.7M in the Banda Sea of Indonesia about 10 hours ago. Expect to see aftershocks rattle throughout that area. 6.7 coincides with the impact of solar winds from the current geoeffective coronal hole

Not super in depth, but I'm seeing nothing new above a 4.0 for Japan yet today.

The Mt. Rainier swarm continues. I was hopeful that we were seeing a real slow of the quakes, but it looks like PNSN is Going through the backlog, since a hundred quakes or so were just added from over the weekend.

There was a 4.8 up on the subduction zone in Russia.

An M5 off the coast of southern Spain early today.

I had a dream involving a tsunami tonight, among many other ones.

I remember being at the beach with a bunch of other people, when I heard strange booms. We went inside and a tsunami occurred, slamming against the windows of the large house. It receded without breaking them but then another huge wave came that did. I remember some people got swept away. I called out “time stop” and “rewind” like a shounen character. It had weird effects, rewinding some things but not others, but I can’t remember the specifics. I remember something about not being able to undo what has already happened that made sense to me at the time.

Some people managed to be saved with this time power. I remember something about something that was gonna happen on the 20th.

Philippines was rumbling last night. Saw a 5.6 hit in Global Quake, and family in Luzon confirm led they felt with the epicenter being about 3 hours away from them.

We just had these three pop off in GQ within a minute of each other. Waiting for data to come through on a verified source.
