What you described means you are Gifted Type V, The Double-Labeled. Your type is also known as 2e, or Twice-Exceptional, meaning you are gifted with a learning disability (dyslexia). You probably don't have a handler because you were put into the special ed courses rather than GATE/GT/Gifted/etc. See if this describes you:

>Type V refers to gifted children who are physically or emotionally handicapped in some way, or who have learning disabilities. The vast majority of gifted programs do not identify these children, nor do they offer differentiated programming that addresses and integrates their special needs.
>Type V students often do not exhibit behaviors that schools look for in the gifted. They may have sloppy handwriting or disruptive behaviors that make it difficult for them to complete work, and they often seem confused about their inability to perform school tasks. They show symptoms of stress; they may feel discouraged, frustrated, rejected, helpless, or isolated.
>These children may deny that they are having difficulty by claiming that activities or assignments are โ€œboringโ€ or โ€œstupid.โ€ They may use their humor to demean others in order to bolster their own lagging self-esteem. >They urgently want to avoid failures and are unhappy about not living up to their own expectations. They may be very skilled at intellectualization as a means of coping with their feelings of inadequacy. They are often impatient and critical and react stubbornly to criticism.
>Traditionally, these students are either ignored because they are perceived as average or referred for remedial assistance. School systems tend to focus on their weaknesses and fail to nurture their strengths or talents.

twice exceptional and special i love it ;p
but i really wonder why they singled me out and gave me all those weird tests and school handlers even though i wasnt one of the retards that needed wrangling they just pulled me out of classes to do all the special testing and questioning
i was even put in a gifted english class since i spoke as an adult with a decent vocabulary as a 8yr old maybe 9
but i didnt do any of the work and was socially awkward making group assignments hard so it was a brief stay
all very odd

The other five types do not have any diagnosed disabilities, learning or otherwise. Type V is a bit of its own special category, but has its own tendencies.

The school system would have chosen you to test for Gifted based on standardized test scores or teacher recommendations. Such as if the teacher was impressed by the way you spoke, or if you scored in the 98th percentile on math on an end-of-the-year exam.

oddly specific but i get ya
so what got you into all this
personal curiosity do to gate programs as a kid would be my first thought

have you also fucked around and found out with psychedelics and dealt with strange shit like entitys
(which are most likely just subconscious projections backed by the god head) telling you that the cia are actually the "good" guys preventing singularity which is apparently a bad thing the bad guys want
which is funny because after this i learned from further lsd use and synchronicitys the importance of the vector equilibrium torus/donut/bagel and that plus this all unfolded right before the movie every thing every here all at once came out

the mirror of life is quiet strange

I was a GATE kid, Type II. I don't believe everything in the GATE threads, but I find it very interesting and I believe there is some truth to it.

I did psychedelics as a teenager, but I didn't have any profound experiences from them. I haven't had any paranormal experiences either, but I browse /x/ because if there is anything, I want to know.
